No HW Keyboard, no deal.

I quite fancy one a WebOS phone though, whether it has HW keyboard or not. Very happy with the N900 for the long forseeable future. I'm gonna get a second one (second hand) so I can do all the experimental stuff on it, that I'm too scared to do on my main one (NITDroid, Aircrack etc.....all those things that have a chance of screwing up) because I need it everyday for work.

I love this analogy. Very Much the way I think of this situation. They are very different vehicles. They perform very opposing ways but they share a very similiar customizable high performance motor. I can work on both. Best of all I get to have a truck for the heavy lifting. I get the sports car for speed, lightness, and sex appeal. I like lifting. I really like sex.

in case you did not notice - the consumers HAVE SPOKEN

they LIKE the iphone - they WANT fart apps - they DONT give a **** about FOSS ! They are OK with a walled garden !

most dont even know what FOSS is ! and they DONT CARE

so yea the consumers are all powerful - and they have voted with their wallet just kicked your FOSS ***

lol @ all this freedom talk. No one seems to feel free to update these ancient n8x0 apps. Or perhaps release new apps for them. Seems y'all have a lot more in common with these big bad corps than you know.
when I get an updated Tear and webkit I'll be sympathetic.

FYI:

Consumers don't just speak and shut up. They speak again. they change their minds. If that wasn't true, companies like Nokia would never fail. But they do.

Back to the topic:

Yes, I will get the N9, not sure if I buy the black one or the blue one.

If Elop is right about the N9 being Nokia's first and last Meego device and he is not replaced with a capable CEO, then this will be my last Nokia device. No WinPhone for me.
