So, Symbian has been left to Accenture. The same Accenture who has been part of infamous Get The Facts. Who "successfully migrated" LSE to Windows. And who epically failed at London Stock Exchange later, crashing the trade and making trade operation impossible for just some 8 hours. So, LSE has turned away from such vendors and migrated to Linux, as it has proven to be cheaper to buy whole developers company and make things themselves :D. So, do you really expect this bunch of pathetic losers from Accenture who meet Symbian 1st time in their lives are serious about to become new traction power? Your train is coasting, Nokia. And looks like you will fail to deliver, because WP7 suxx... |
Re: The death of Symbian
Nokia does not matter anymore.
Microsoft is dying too, but its train was speedier and heavier, so it might coast longer, smashing other trains which foolishly happen to be found in its range. |
Re: The death of Symbian
That's where they fail: two losers can't innovate. MeeGo had chance. It's wonderful. It's cool. It's a real platform to replace symbian and fight on par with Android and Apple. However, Elop's management is about to push his stupid WP7 which is boring, useless and lacks all features competitors can offer. Furthermore, MS announced they're about to support HTML5, etc. And guess what? On html5test.com their brand new WP7 browser scores ,,, less than ancient Symbian?! (25 points vs 36). While MeeGo scores over 250 points. Epically crappy and inefficient management is so typical for MS and Nokia these days... it's just amazing how management idiocy or hunt for personal gain can crush a huge company in a matter of months.
