I want to edit the fonts of the text (and in particular also enlarge the font of the time)... Similarly the picture.
Can you point me to the config file that holds these?

Oops, sorry. Since the lockscreen supports portrait mode now, I was actually visualizing a portrait lockscreen.

Your latest landscape designs are simply superb. But how would they look in portrait orientation?

They'll need to be redone to be vertical instead of horizontal.

It's pretty annoying to unlock the phone just to change songs. I like they way it's done on iOS where you can change songs on the lock screen itself. It's very useful when you're in a hurry.

The unlock button is adquate, since I'm focusing on making it all horizontally-focused.

it looks better having the bar at the top. how about using icons instead of words "new messages, missed calls.. etc." i was thinking of something similar to the notification bar of a blackberry where all the notifications are just lined up beside each other. and would be nice if the screen lights up (from being locked) when a new message comes in but it should stay locked unless we unlock it. thanks!

Having the media player is an added advantage. And guess thats what MAG wanted to implement in the first place, considering thats what he implemented before anything else.

It would be better if the Media Player part disappears when the Media Player isnt running and appears only when a song is playing.

I see what you did there. You cut off the "Weekday" bit.
I guess you could fit a short form on top of the date. There is a bit of space beside the "pm" of the clock. You could fit a Sat, Sun, etc

Well this is the best design so far and hope you can make a portrait version with these elements rearranged when it switches to portrait mode.

Now hope MAG can make this a reality soon.

EDIT: I liked your "Icon only" event notifications. Guess they look neater than the words. But as missed calls are usually denoted by a red colour in most UIs, it would have looked better if the missed call icon was red rather than blue. But its just my opinion and blue looks good too.
