as Keneraali notcied that there's a bug, you can unlock screen by tapping on the end of the slide bar.

Is possible to "activeate" unlock screen not by clicking power button, but tapping (once or twice) screen? and connect it with proximity sensor (when it's free tapping work, when closed - not.

I assume he his referring to when you can see the locksreen not when the phones locked? The double tap query has been covered right at the start of the thread, but basicallty it is a no go.

i like how minimal it is adding all this features is not necessary to everyone, does it really matter how many messages you see there? how many missed calls? how many emails? when it comes down to it you guys will still check it and unlock the whole device and what about notification light dont you guys use it? to see if theres someone who message you or call you change it to a different color so youll know if its email, sms or call. im just reminding everybody that not all the people here use this device as a cellphone.

i use shortcutd to pause the song im listening to (long hold on camera key) when its in my pocket when i saw this enhanced lockscreen it made me happy because i can quickly change tracks.

maybe you guys arent asking for too much yet maybe you want MAG to make it so the message you recieve is running across the screen or the call with the callers name and number or the email with the sender and subject...(sigh)

Question: Is there any way of setting the clock on the lock screen to 24h mode?

Bug: When unlocking the screen with the lock/unlock button I can see the enhanced lockscreen in a blink. That didn't happen with the default lockscreen. It's a bug i can live with, though.

Even thou it look really good ... I think this is too much.
This is essentially an S60v5 homescreen. As a lockscreen. :)
Why not show a transparent overlay to your desktop, and you can have all your little widgets a stuff, that is already in memory anyhow. I think leaving out the background would reduce the loading time as well.

most of the time i unlock the screen just want to know is there anything i miss on the call or sms.

It's ".images" not "Images". And I guess you're missing ".jpg" at the end.

You can make separate background for portrait and landscape modes. Just have the images on top of each other, both areas 800x480 as follows:

i found a bug..

1. Use wifi switcher to off wifi.
2. Let Message "WLAN DISABLED" visible (dont touch screen)
3. Double press ON/OFF button (at the top of mobile)
4. Press ON/OFF button and see what comes up :)

The default unlock screen show and after enhanced shows up..

I noticed the phone doesn't automatically unlocks when receiving a call. The screen only lights up.

and another bug: if you only TAP on a place where lock slider must end in order to unlock screen, IT WILL UNLOCK SCREEN!!!

If you have 0.1 installed, update your repos (apt-get update), and you can update to 0.2. If you already have 0.2, restart your phone (or killall -9 enhanced-lockscreen).

when som1 call me and i have locked screen it takes some second to show up unlock screen which doesn't recognise some seconds too. So i cant take call for about 4 sec.

yeah, i wanted to write this, but you were first, for me sometimes call window doesn't want to show at all, i can see only "beautiful lockscreen" and phone is ringing (i use slide2answer)

Hey MAG, this is another thing we all missed about our n900. Now we can have a weather forecast-lockscreen(thanks to woody14619 and me) and this great multimedia lockscreen. Although i think i have a few bugs to point out. Sometimes the default lockscreen shows up instead of yours, the title and the authors name are messed up in a lot of my songs, although standart media player does show these tags properly. And may i give you some suggestions? Maybe the media buttons should be a big bigger.. Btw great background that you chose!

A bug I noticed today: sometimes it's hard to answer calls in time because the lockscreen is still displayed when the phone is ringing.

Bug: portrait mode doesnt work properly. It gets stuck.

To reproduce:
turn off orientation lock
turn to landscape
lock screen
press power button to show lock screen
turn to portrait
wait till screen goes black
press pwr button
lockscreen is now stuck in portrait

about the lock screen taking time to show, if I lock the phone to landscape it shows instantly, but if there is no orientation lock it takes some time to show, then some time to rotate to the correct orientation, other times it gets stuck and I get a gray screen and have to slide open the keyboard or use the lock switch to fix.
