I think it was 5 bucks. Does he need more? I'd be happy to send more if it would help. :D I'll need a mailing address though.

I think it's fabulous to make a snippy comment and have someone actually WORKING on that program immediately fire back with a grumpy reply. As long as we have users who communicate and developers who care, we're in good shape.

OK, I have tried what you suggest here with no positive effect. I have taken the time to confirm the problem. When I call out using Skype my media player subsequently fails to open it's files . When the device is rebooted the media player works again. I will report this bug when I have the time.

I solved my problem by on the web menu going to tools, then settings and then setting cache memory to the max level. So obviously Skype is gobbling up a lot of cache memory.

Unfortunately I was wrong when I wrote the above. I still have the same problem. When I complete a call with Skype, Media Player then can not open files.

Thanks for the tip on the ports, it fixed the 'sound is reserved by another application' error I kept getting in Rhapsody when I tried to play something and Skype was also running.

Now I can use both apps simultaneously without any problem. I had never noticed that setting...
