You need to remove first the modified-hildon-desktop package you have.

Re: [Announce] Hildon desktop portrait mode

4things i found.

-if u go to the menu to rearrange apps from vertical desktop it will enable a potrait rearranger that its kinda buggy.... "done" button is there but its invisible on top right of the menu.
if u going to rearrange something do it from landscape desktop

-also any way to make icons scroll horizontal ? 3 columns vertical scrolling its tiresome. same for the task manager.

- the menu app button is different from the one in the task switcher and desktop

desktop its a rectangle, task switcher have a small curvature in the bottom right corner.

- it doesnt let me change wallpaper desktops --5-6-7-8-9

i was thinking the application main menu would look better in portrait mode would look better if it had four columns instead of the the three...
