What is the matter with you? the thread got closed down because of trouble makers on this site and it was not a paper petition
It was there to find out current interest at the time and for members to come up with idea's, or are you once again trying to cause trouble?.

I have given up with this community as it is going absolutely nowhere, all we have now is arguments and mods that just love to threaten people, makes me sick to the teeth now.

I have found other forums much better than this one now and understand why you left but do not understand why you came back.

Oh and finally i have created an ignore list and the first person on it was ysss and then jedi so now finally i do not see anything they have to say, and the list will grow every day.

I am doing nothing more about Maemo and this community, i will just watch it for my own amuzement to see the arguments keep growing.

This community is and will fall apart soon there is no doubt about that.

Now i have an ignore list and i fully intend to use it, more people will be added every day including chemist.

this forum has now degenrated to a place of argument and the reason is people are totally pissed off with Nokia, i do not blame them for that at all in any way or form BUT the likes of ysss who live on this forum to play mind games with people (and he has many followers i can assure you) is one of the reasons this forum is now being left behind by anyone who has a life outside of the rediculous arguments on here.

This should be a place for forward movement not argument and moderators that just LOVE power and have the right to do as they please regardless of peoples opinion, wants or hopes.

They can ban me anytime they wish or feel the urge but they can not stop me to watch the utter chaotic arguments that go on on here.

I actually agree that Chemist's post is out of line because he says things like "I don't like you." This simply emphasizes Chemist's personal power and the importance of staying on his good side.To the extent that there is a reason for threatening or disciplining you, whether Chemist likes you has nothing to do with it. This is the weakness of the moderator system -- it tempts people to exercise arbitrary power to show what big shots they are. Fortunately, moderators on this site rarely yield to that temptation. Unfortunately, they sometimes do.

I'm pretty sure being pissed at Nokia is nothing new. In fact, it's been quite the snowball effect month after month, year after year after people get involved with Nokia products then experience the horror and nightmare that is Nokia support, customer care and (most incredibly, for an open-source set of products) planned obsolescence. :P

Chemist is way out of line and a perfect example of what you have just said, no way i will beg to someone like that ever in my life.

He is a young person with no clue whatsoever how to treat people after the remarks he made to me.

Yes but we have a situation on our hands that has never happened before in that Nokia have whitewashed every owner of a N900 as you well know dan and this coumminity should have picked up straight away with that situation and look what has happened.... sweet F>A !.

This community is full of dreamers and hopefulls that rely on others, mee too i might add ! because i am no linux or Maemo coder but a mere ex design engineer with skills learned over a lifetime of hard work on electronics.

I tried from day one to make people see the situation and if you go look at all the threads i have started you will know the route i took BUT i got shouted down by ysss and his friends right back then and it never stopped, they are all the old members that have gathered a following that back them up.

I can not deal with arguments i will admit and usually just take the phiss and rant on which in itself is a bad way to be.

I have dealt my own problems on here but what should have happened is people seen from the technical side the problems Nokia have created and done something constructive instead of all this ranting, whining and ganging up on people that happenes on this forum

Ysss and co are very pally with the mods on here and get away with a hell of a lot knowing the situation, it stinks to high heaven of this and i now want no part of it.

They say the dead cannot harm the living. You try living in a room with a dead carcass for a couple of years and let's see if you'll be harmed by it. Nokia has been slooooowly rotting before our eyes and it's taken something of a toll on its brand and on its former and current communities.

That's a curious example.

Because the living can put in some effort; from taking the carcass out and burying it himself... to buying a cartful of potpourri to decorate the carcass with... to cutting up the carcass into smaller pieces and freezing them for emergency snack.

But I digress.

The question is, what can the living do and why isn't he doing it?

I dunno. Me... I opted to stay over at the Android house and let the Windows keep the stink in the Nokia house. :) I just curiously watch to see if anybody will ever want to move back into that old place. Hope for the best, but expect the worst.
