zifis great work my friend ,i hope there are gonna be new different ideas and versions obviously ,i hope you can make it in a dark maroon shade ,will look even more classy !!
And an other suggestion ,i read back there that we can swipe whole of desktop (from left to right) ,so if some one can finish things like that ? ;)

I dont know what is the problem? but I think you dont have the latest version of QtLockscreen

I had the same problem. Eventhough I had the latest version (0.1.11) of qtlockscreen, and after incorporating the Andriod theme, I did a 'killall qtlockscreen', wifi-icon didnt show up.

Now the issue is fixed - all you have to do is a device restart.

PS: 'killall' is what I read on this thread earlier. on wiki it is:

so try 'pkill' first. And then go for reboot.

First disconnect from your current wifi and then reconnect. The icon only seems to start to show up after your reconnected to wifi lan again.

Yes, the icon listen to connect/disconnect events (I avoided to link also qtnetwork to check for connection at startup).

i just realized i tried to explain limitations to someone who is already aware of them. You already know it can be done but images will stay there like Harick showed. Since images will stay, experience will not be the same as N950 .. If you have a beef with me, feel free to spit it out.

UnlockXP .. change value to higher than given and less than or equal to 480 for slide unlock anywhere on the screen past the point of unlock.

Well... for dark backgrounds it's better if the contrast with colours is high. Dark on dark really doesn't work and it is a bit hard to read the smaller notifications fonts......

I don't have N950 and I don't know how the real thing feels. It is just a harmattan lockscreen concept i came up with, for maemo n900. Font used is Mangal.

mangal.ttf -> /usr/share/fonts
nHC.ini -> rename to QtLockscreen.ini -> /home/user/.config/sakya

Those who know me, know i never disrespect people unless they disrespect me. FYI with current limitations, exact N950 notifications CANNOT be created. I did create them to a certain extent but it looked and felt terrible. Feel free to edit my files, i dont hold any patents over it.

easy :D Although it is flattened of 3 images plus some gradients etc. I did... haven't kept the 3 original images if that's what you wanted :(

Sorry for maybe dumb question, but... Isn't possible to make similar notifications with calling libnotify and freeze them until phone is unlocked? I understand, that qtlock screen is on top layer (and libnotify maybe cannot be used in QT app), but libnotify provides something similar to N950 notifications.

how to completely remove qtlockscreen ?
i dont know but i have messed up something here ,i can see two ini files,one if default and other seems to be its copy and 3rd one i am gonna import so problem guys ..help out ..
i tried apt-get purge but i still see 3 .ini files in home/user/.config/sakya
i still see an image folder ( nhc ) there in opt/qtlockscreen
now everytime i am trying to change my lockscreen i dont succeed ,nothing changes ..
what do i do ? please help ))

all the credit goes to zifis for his lockscreen.

changelog
now in both landscape and portrait mode
new font and just top rectangular bar and 12 hour time zone

just paste the landscape.png image in /opt/qtlockscreen/green_on_grey

and that's all .

now it is all up to you , you can edit it your way .
i know i know :P
it is not that accurate as zifis's portrait one but this is for the one's who wanted to use landscape mode .

look at niqball harmattan lockscreen carefully...there a reason why he placed the notifications on the right side...if he put it as you wanted the it is impossible to swap the wallpaper haft way cause it notifications will not look good if it got swap by the wallpaper....

you can try modified niqbal files then show us your harmattan lockscreen...
