Other is conventional method of taking a screenshot

your recent query is how i took the second screenshot. Load your file in developer mode and then take a conventional screenshot. I forgot exactly how i took it but i dragged the image (slider) with one of the fingers and took the screenshot. So in short, combining both qtlockscreen app and conventional method of taking a screenshot. hope it answers your question

Am actually working on wp7 model unlockscreen. the way u slid the screen from left to right, i was trying to move it from bottom to top. Worked fine. By the way i am using your wifi and charging icons for this version. hope this is ok with you and thanks a lot. i will try to upload it today.

My attempt to replicate WP7 unlockscreen concept.
For now here are the screenshots.

Ok. couldnt resist the babe in menu screen :)
Like the way meego lock screen moves from left to right, WP7 lockscreen moves from bottom to top
Thanks a lot niqbal for the Harmattan concept from which i took a leaf.
Am still waiting to hear a few things from sakya.

hi guys,

i already installed qtlockscreen and i have 3 questions:

1. when i am using the mediaplayer widget, the title name is mostly to long in portrait mode. is it possible to have the text aligned in the center of the screen and when the text is to long, it should display the text left aligned ( approx. 400px ). do you understand?

2. is it possible to define the display duration? 2 Mins for example?

3. is it possible to have a fm transmitter widget on the lockscreen?

hi eefo, i read your question last night and was thinking about it. Though image used is purely portrait and i wish i had a landscape version of the same image but i couldn't find it. Using a different image rotating it to landscape will give it a bad feel.

Otherwise, putting in landscape is not a problem. Using the right images to make sure it feels like one, not two distinct entities glued together is an issue

I am actually waiting for Sakya's latest qtlockscreen build.
There will be few updates with respect to 2g 3g icons and stuff.

I am also trying to see if the backgrnd image can completely made transparent so we can actualluy look at the hildon desktop.
Seems like not possible but will give it a try.

May be i will upload version 1.

Window Phone 7 concept Lockscreen:
Drag the lockscreen from bottom to top to unlock.

Features:
1. Unlock screen semi transparent
2. Except media icon everything lies below lockscreen. So as you scroll up the text becomes more brighter.

No. I used the icons from devianart after sending out an email to the user.

Devian art has good icon collection most of the xda developers use.

I gave your request a thought.

Basically you want your album art to be your backgrnd when the song plays. (I watched the video you posted).

try this qtlockscreen.ini and you should be seeing that.

The only problem is there wont be many songs which have a album art of size 480x800. A smaller one only occupies part of your screen.

If you know where i can get good quality album art let me know too.

And ya one more thing. the transition will not be as smooth as you shown in the video.

To enhance the Harmattan-styled lock screen, a simple script to replace menu_bnw.png with a screen shot of the homescreen can be done. So you can "swipe away" the lock screen and see whatever was last on screen.

We wont need that. Did you look at the log of sakya's qtlockscreen next release.It will have feature of taking a transaprent backgrnd image.so hopefully you can directly see your hildon desktop

I tried using a transparent gif, it can be used for the slider and you can see the background picture but when used for the background picture the screen is black behind the slider image also would be nice(repeating what has been said before) animated gif would be nice if it could be used as right now only regular gifs are loaded

Nothing mine , just changed few settings from "niqbal's Harmattan Concept LS" and changed it to landscape mode.
atm i am unable to update my repositories that's why cant update the new version of qtlockscreen.
it is simple nothing fancy just posting cause of landscape mode for the ones love using landscape .



as i am using qtlockscreenconfig that's why all the files from this rar file will go into /opt/qtlockscreen this way qtlockscreenconfig will become easy to use .

no you can get the pic sliding only in one mode at a time as there is no option of having two different images for slider.

Here is my v2 file of wp7 concept.

Everything remains same

copy folder windows to /opt/qtlockscreen/
copy QtLockscreen.ini to /home/user/.config/sakya/
copy font SegoeWP.ttf to /usr/share/fonts/

If you want to display condition of weather (like sunny, haze....) copy the weatherwidget.sh to /opt/qtlockscreen/

WE WANT HARMATTAN STYLE lockscreens ;p ,they are kinda cool .
niqbal made it pretty special and delicate .expecting more ))))))))))))
