As far as I understood, it`s karma.sh script that does the trick, and there is definitely some instructions for linux, hopefully it would be possible to implement it in maemo :D

It is thread for discussing Cleven, which is GUI for aircrack-ng and reaver. Don't pollute this productive place.

Hello I have installed Pr 1.3.1 firmware
latest maemo cssu and kernel v51 and cleven 4.1.1

and I think that are working for me

In xterminal :
sudo gainroot
lsmod | grep wl12

You can see before and after that I loaded the injection modules into cleven.

and I tried for example this pali script :

I tried and tried and windows injection pps is a lottery , My tests is with my network with wep password,

cleven 4. or faircrack 0.49 , with default options for load injection drivers or using bleeding injection applet or with packet-injection.sh in xterminal.

In theory injection modules forever loaded but 0pps or yes 499-500 ,I tried with other networks with wep password .

The interactive injection into faircrack is good, It will can added to cleven

Yeah I am having the same problems. I've tried some of the solutions back in the KP50 version days, but now with KP51, and after uninstalling and re-installing Cleven, I still cannot load any injection drivers or get Cleven to find networks. And just now - whilst typing this post and having Cleven sitting there, my N900 just crashed and rebooted! Gawd... not good. Thanks anyway

please help anyone...

i have installed cleven and it works like a charm. Thanks a lot, Saturn.

but when i uninstall cleven and recently installed a newer version, it gives me 3 options in the Drivers option (see attached photos). Is 4.1-1 a stable version?

- i got kp50.

Hello, I experienced some problems with reaver in cleven. It succesfully cracked WPS, but I can't see the result, because it closes the terminal window. I took a screenshot, but not in time, I can't read everythink. Is it possible to keep the window open?

Hello... Is this app support Wpa?? I've been using for hours and it take 94000 beacons but still not break it...

Yes it does support, but you need another WiFi device, which is communicating on the network, Without this, you don't have packets to capture. Also cleven(aircrack-ng) is only able to get the four-way-handshake, or bruteforcing the WPS PIN code. Maybe it could be possible to bruteforce a handshake with a wordlist on the phone in 100 years... But let your computer to do the hard work.

I try to run Cleven 4.1 with KP51 from a terminal and I saw the reason why it fails to work : it asks me the root password on the terminal. But I don't know it :(. Someone knows how to get this password ?
I remember, for another application, I had to install a package which avoid the same password issue but I forgot this package name.

Otherwise, I tried to run it after a "sudo gainroot" but it fails to start : "Failed to open connection to "session" message bus: (null)".

EDIT : I find out that the "cleven.sudoers" file was not copy by the Cleven package instalation. However, when I try to copy it myself, there is no behavior change (it still ask for a password).

EDIT2 : Problem solved, run "update-sudoers" command with root priviledges. Now, Cleven is operational on my phone with KP51 :).

How did you install the application?
I will make a clean install tomorrow and check myself, but looking at the package the sudoers file is in the correct place.

I installed it with "Faster Application Manager" (version 0.7.1). Before I installed KP51, I removed my previous Cleven version with the same application.

i dont know anything, im only following the directions given in this post on how to crack a protected wifi. i'v been cracking for 4days and getting no where. can someone tell me if im using reaver the right way. thanks.

From my experience, it's not a good idea to leave reaver running for days. Afterwards I started getting "no memory" errors which I eventually traced back to this file.

Never did get that handshake...

You don't need a handshake. Reaver perform a bruteforce atack in order to get the AP PIN but the problem is that it may works like a DoS attack... So, don't harm your neighbors rigth !!! ;) BTW, again, it's completelly OT here. :(

sorry for hijack cleven's thread but it's just for a quick question:
How cleven loads wl1251 ? I just tried to use the load.sh inside /opt/cleven/ but w/o success. I've read clevenHelper.sh already but no clues there as well. I only manage to load those drivers from cleven GUI.
BTW, the unload.sh works fine and I'm on kp51...

Thanks for the detailed description. It might be the case that one dependency is missing since one of the recent changes.

The "ip" that it does not find is a library. Check for example: http://linux.die.net/man/8/ip

Do you have busybox power (http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=72801) installed? I think it comes with it.
I cannot check now as we are in the middle of the sites migration, but i believe it is this that you are missing.

EDIT:
in the meantime if you want to overcome this
open as root the clevenHelper script and lines 142 and 143
modify them to
with red are the changes..

BTW, the use of ip fixes the problem reported here:

I have a problem with cleven, everything works as expected but for some reason when the injection begins after a while it stops receiveing packets, the injection window is still sendin packages though but the #Data column slows down as if injection was not present, what I had to do then is close the injection window, wait for the authentication works again (until the "authentication succesfull" message appears again) and then open a new injection window, and again after a while repeat the whole process, also the time that takes me to decrypt a wep network is way to high, more than 20-30 mins. is that normal or is something wrong, if so what would it be???

Looks like error with correct usage of aircrack-ng tools (user-error, to be precise), which is totally out of Cleven's scope. From your description, Cleven already did what it had to do, and your question is related to correct usage of aircrack suite.

I recommend reading one of zillions airack tutorials on net. If you still think it's a bug, raise it with mainstream aircrack (or it's maemo port maintainer, if it would be fixed upstream). Just be sure to check if you're using correct drivers with injection.

Some access points have protections for "bad" clients.

What type is your access point?
Can you try with a different one?

Hi!I have cssu stable and Kp51r1.Cleven seems to work well but no wireless network shows in the list after scan ;no wep or wpa although i am certain there are a few.Also when hitting the configure wlan drivers button it gives me a warning about did not find a known compatible kernel version for the injection drivers.
NVM i update cleven from extra-devel and now it works!
