Just installed v1.3.1 - Is there any reason why the set of options on home screen is different between portrait and landscape modes?

On portrait I have 5x3 (so 15 icons) but in landscape only 13 icons (events and photo uploading are missing). Any ideas why this happens?

I also posted this on fMobi page and the author was kind enough to reply. Said it's a known bug and he will try to fix it on next version. Thumbs up! :)

Hey, thanks a bunch!
although I have a few bugs/requests:
Could you bring back those big home icons when in portrait mode, which were in the previous version or are you considering adding new buttons?
When looking at somebody's photo in fullscreen, the next and previous butoons are situated to low so the are under the low menu bar, which appears if try to click those buttons. It's a bit tricky and takes a few tries to tap those two. Could you pls move those a bit higher?

I don't think he'll add new buttons. The home screen is optimized for a resolution of 640x360. And in my testing, v1.3.1 seems more stable.

Does anybody else get a crash when scrolling really fast through fMobi? In my case it actually seems common on Qt apps. It happens also on QMLtube....weird :confused:

i get the whitescreen ever time i get on it and when i type apt-get install libqtm-11 on the xterm i get this

at first I get a black screen, I install the recommended apps, and I try again. Now I get a white screen and there's something else I need to do?

Is this application ever going to be as simple as "install" and that's it?

I'm not sure but I think you first have to enable testing and/or devel repository for that package.

can anyone confirm this bug with me....

when you makes a status & add a symbol using hardware keyboard by pressing ctrl+blue arrow for extra symbol the apps will crashes....

i have been try for a few times now...keep crashing everytime i try inserting extra symbol using ctrl+blue arrow....

apt-get install libqtm-12
Qt-Hot fixes.

But still am unable to use fMobi because of white screen issue.. :(

does anyone have 3 useless icons in their news feed? when you tap the 3 lines, there's 2 blank icons in between the news feed and status update then there's another one between links and pages...

hello, i've been banging my head for 3 days with reflash etc

recently flashed my phone, reinstalled all the apps and everything works fine..

yesterday try to use sygic and gps wouldn't lock

same for maps same for marble

i installed all the apps in one batch using fast apman, so did not really know what was causing the problem, so i blamed it to the CSSU

reflashed yesterday and all fine again, testing the gps after most of the big changes such as CSSU which i installed after sygic, can't remember what i've done before going to bed and, this morning same thing.

reflashed the phone and left it with just basic apps. then while stack in traffic (sygic working fine) and bored i decided to install fmobi, and so the QTQuick Compatibility bacause of the black screen.

result, at reboot, gps would not lock anymore.

unistalled both, and gps is fine again... don't know if it was either one, but i reckon it was the QT rather than fmobi, which was not required in the previous version of fmobi, or at least it was not showing this problem.

is it just me? this has not happened once but a few times not and for the moment i have to ditch fmobi or won't be able to use the satnav.

I Tried to update de fmobi to version1.4 but acused some problems with libc6; libgcc1; libqt4-core and many others.

Someone can help me?

I have the same problem. GPS won't lock. Is okay if I use an external GPS device but not the internal one. Haven't tried uninstalling QTQuick Compatibility yet to see if that works.

even i had the same problem but i figured a way around..
try this
type your username and password in notes or anyother app you want and copy them , one by one ofcourse and open fmobi 1.4 . tap and hold the username box you will get an option to paste and do the same for the password. you're done .you will now be able to login

Looks like there is an update to 2.0 for Symbian released today. Hopefully a Maemo update will come too!

The developer said on his Facebook page that hopefully the N900 version will be this week. Fingers crossed.
