I bought my n900 today aaaaand fail:(

Today I bought an used n900, having come back home I tried to turn it on and it asks for lock code. The guy I bought it from doesn't pick up his phone. 'no worries' - I thought, I'd reflash it and everything will be just fine.
What I did:
1) Following the instructions from the wiki, I flashed with this first:
RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin
2) Right after that, I flashed with this image: RX-51_2009SE_20.2010.36-2_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin

The phone rebooted and it keeps asking for lock code (12345 doesn't work)

What should I do?

remove the battery between the 2 flashes, and put the battery back in while holding down the U button.

also be sure that you use the lastest version of the emmc and the firmware :)

WTF? He said lock code doofus. Lock code is not removed by flash.

Good try, however it should be '12345'.

If the above fails you can always boot the meego rescue kernel/init and activate USB mode to gain access to rootfs to retrieve the password shadow file.
