What to do with a spare N900
 
What to do? what to do?

What do I do with my N900?
I don't need to use it as a main phone. I have just done a reflash to stocker and now I'm going to install all the best hacking tools and chroot...

But what else can I do with it?

No android.

I'd like some other OS's but I can't really find anything new. Ubuntu was cool.

Place some Uranium bits next to the USB port and throw it in the nuclear reactor next to my school to see if it breaks down, or not...

there's meego ce obviously to test;
there's kde plasma;
and Javispedro was able to run WebOS

I have seen the ununtu, looks cool.
I think I should just hack the rectum out of everything I can!
I was just after other people's ideas of what are some good uses. I can't bare to part from the N900. I dont know what makes it so damn hard to part with!

You could also turn it in a dlna/upnp media renderer with brisa or rygel to stream your media from your tablet, phone, whatever to your N900 connected to your amp and speakers (or the opposite) - not that I was able to make them work though :(

hmm, I havent got the time to do it myself but i remember reading that you just start with meego ce and zypper some packages. Now I too can't find it...

id try kde plasma but the instructions arent detailed enough for me
