Re: Steve Jobs resigns
Not all comments are lauding him :
21. tarwater San Francisco Bay Area August 24th, 2011 7:10 pm Bye-bye. You did much -- (1) an accessory to the destruction of the best-quality agricultural district in these United States, the Santa Clara Valley, (2) an accessory to the accelerating down-ward spiral of intellectual cognition and competence in the U.S.A. having captured the attention of the populous to focus on "digital media", (3) transferred productive employment from the U.S.A. to other nations, in particular China, at the expense of some measure of the stability of th American unemployed and the nations future. Doing a "good job" has nothing to do with the acquisition of wealth and "power" -- far more to do with tangible betterment of society and attenuating the downward spiral of the human enterprise |
Re: Steve Jobs resigns
it's called going out on top. Stylish move Steve, congrats, especially after all you have been through with that company.
So begins the long slow decline of Apple BACK into obscurity. |

Nokia makes a hundred different types of phones and is failing, Apple makes one model per year and extracts more than 1/2 of the profit from the entire smartphone industry worldwide. Apple was probably just weeks away from being bought when Jobs returned. Had he not returned, Apple would have the same importance in the market as Compaq does today. |

Or this one:
126. Elextra San Diego August 24th, 2011 7:25 pm I can't see how the creation of all of this selfish technology is something we should necessary be joyous about...all these people crashing their cars, ignoring their children, walking into walls, spending all of their time sharing inane responses in a little device that costs too much money and is made in another country by foreigners...sheesh. But for Jobs himself, I wish him well. |
Re: Steve Jobs resigns
It's a shame for Apple to 'lose' such a strong leader...
...and I feel for Steve, because he may be doing this due to his mounting health conditions.... ...but maybe this isn't such a great place to enshrine him and to keep copy pasting comments from other blogs about him here. |
