A rumor intel might hold development temporarily. Intel already denied it. The article also says MeeGo is only on one smartphone, but neglected to mention the netbooks and tablets it has already been released on.

A tablet here, a netbook there from fringe companies. MeeGo is getting nowhere, not a single major player is interested.

It seems most Linux-based OS's are getting the sack nowadays. See MeeGo, webOS...
