Subscribing to threads
 
Is there a way to get instant email messages when someone responds in a specific thread?

Not all of the ones subscribed, just a selective few from your overall list.

Or is it all or nothing with this?

RSS? You can sign to games and get updates from only this subforum (new threads will show up as updates), or to a couple/few. No way to get latest posts from this though, so only new threads/trends

Click the 'Thread Tools' pulldown menu just above this thread, choose 'Subscribe to this thread'. Then pick 'Instant email notification'.

Hmmm... I see what you're saying.

Go to the thread subscriptions screen and switch forum's theme to 'classic light' (bottom left of page), then the extra fields and controls will show up.

You can also make subfolders to categorize your subscriptions and manage them per-folder.

Okay. One other thing but I didn't want to start a new thread on this.

I can no longer give or receive thanks here anymore on the forum .

The only thing I did that I know of was changing my email address in the settings.

Is there any way for me to thank and be thanked once again after I changed my email address on this site?

Somehow this feature is now broke on my end and I'm not seeing any option to restore it.
