EDIT:- i am using notepad to edit this on my pc, then i will transfer this to N900
the minus sign is for parallax = -2.0 and make it to 1.3(stock CSSU)

the big icons are DrLaunch widgets (four widgets of 2 rows) with modded icon from Harmattan icon pack (p.s. dont ask me the path to replace the icons, it was really confusing stuff ;))

hey host ...very nice transition..but i juz dunno how to put the n900 landscape mode and the display is portrait mode? juz like the video..izit hav to lock something or?

I replaced the /usr/share/hildon-desktop/transitions.ini file's content with this. Restarted the device. It still has the regular transitions. What should I do?

replace the transition.ini in /usr/share/themes/[your theme folder]/

for example: /usr/share/themes/alpha/transition.ini

do you have cssu 16.8?... (that gives portrait homeacreen) btw i didnt locked it in portrait mode... its just in automatic mode.

i you got filebox in your device then use it....go to....

usr/share/hildon-desktop

inside the folder there are 3 files....

1. transitions.ini (the one is needed to be replace)
2. transitions.ini.default
3. transitions.ini.dpkg-dist

copy files number 2 & paste it some were in MyDocs...then rename it to

transitions.ini

then copy the files that you have rename back to usr/share/hildon-dekstop & paste it....it will ask to overwrite...press yes....reboot then you done....

Yes you have to! This is the thing what cssu need! So nice and give much newer looks to the n900.

ok good but i have black screen in all incons background ..

can you tell me how to change this black screen? or add noise for desktops background one

2- i have deleted two files in usr/share/hildon-desktop

3- i have changed the font from them customizer and now i can't see the new font i made in menu icons

I finally disabled hw sync and copied the new harmattan transitions. Do any of you guys have any idea why my transitions are laggy?

@mesho123: the black background in the task navigation and appmenu is what harmattan style, btw if you still want to change it i will tell you the steps to change later.
2. which two files did you delete.. and btw i told everyone to just replace it with transitions.ini in the hildon-desktop folder. (thats only one).
3. i think you probably didnt reboot, and its not related to transitions file at all...

@patlak: this transitions work best with h/w sync, and i think you underclocked your n900 or something else... see the video how fast it is...@600mhz stock.

@Makeclick: sometimes when a application starts to freeze or takes more time to close, its just terminated making the phone more responsible and less lag. (there is a setting in the transitions file to close apps at that event)

@zurrain101: there is no problem with landscape or portrait or both, everything is just fine as nirmal.

i have the same issue as makeclick. and my phone has frozen complete a few times. how do i change the ini to affect this as you mentioned above in response to make click. i know how to edit it...but what line?

If you use theme customizer backup the transitions.ini in /opt/theme-customizer/ and copy the new transitions.ini into that directory. Then open theme customizer select "Use custom (fast) window transitions", apply changes and reboot (just in case).

I'm running at 805MHz. I have no idea why all my transitions lag without hw sync. They seem to be skipping frames. What could be the cause of this? Thanks.

do you have speedpatch? or increased the speed of transitions with transitions tuner? they both create a problem for me..

i can just recommend you to set h/w acc to 1 for time being.

btw i normally use @950mhz + h/w accleration on but in video i was using 600mhz + h/w acc on, to prove it works normal frequency....
