I had speedpatch, but have removed it like a month ago. When I had it and I disabled hwsync, it took me an additional reboot in order to get lag free. Now it's constant.

check if enabling h/w acc solves the prob... or is it already solved.

There is still lag, and only in the application menu, nowhere else. Should I maybe try reinstalling speedpatch and see if that makes a difference. I would hate to reflash now :(

do you have same problem with other transitions files too.. try different using default one...

so been using the phone all day and no hang ups freezes or anything. i ended up switching the ini out...and back again. the transition is great without the lag. the only difference between my use today..and yesterday when I had issues for hours after i changed to this ini...is that the first time...i edited the ini using cssu tunner. i changed different values thru there and perhaps they did not agree. i don't know. today i have been using the ini with out using cssu tunner...or changing any values..as is "out the box" ...and have not had one freeze.

hey guys!
im using this transitions and this is awsome, thanks.
but i cant blacklist apps to not rotate. ive tried adding lines in transitions.ini at the bottom of the archive, and at the line "rotate" too.
so, have any ideas for me?

just try theme-customizer to change the font and reboot, and you dont need to delete those two files.. . :)

thankyou man, but i already did this and its not working for me...
even the apps that was there before keep rotating like xterm and mediaplayer.
So, i tried to add others apps at this same line and create a new line at the bottom of the archive and at the botton of [rotate] line with no success...

Do you have cssu 16.8 if not, thats the main problem, btw dont add any extra lines to lock some apps to landscape (blacklist) or portrait (whitelist) under [ROTATE] or anywhere else... just put it where i had marked (mentioned in the previous post).

yes, i do have cssu 16.8. and i tried add the app name at the same line you marked with leafpad. I saved and then reboot, but stll rotating.
This issue started after i installed your transitions.

don't use CSSU tuner cause its not compatible with the latest transition...use CSSU config instead....when saving using theme customizer untick use fast transition...

I tunned my transitions with CSSU Tuner yesterday and it is different from the original.
And, i liked much more the newer tarnsitions!

i don´t know if you guys can see, but pay attention after the screen rotation, it still a minimal rotation like the screen is being adapting to the new format.
Look the wallpaper when entering menus;
the growing-like apps when opening and when return to it.
So, i liked that way. But i wanted the blacklist too and now i´m afraid of using CSSU Configuration i loose those transitions... =(

i think it might work.. but i read somewhere that Maemodder is incompatible it cssu so please rectify it.. :)

this is what happened. i was using this transition and had a backup of my old transition ( the cssu one) in MyDocs. suddenly i copied the cssu transition.ini in usr/share/hildon-desktop to get back my old transition and my desktop crashed after 5 mins. i had to reflash. whats the point of backing up then? and does differnt transitions eats up more battery power?

there was a problem with the cssu transitions (mostly the old cssu transitions i.e cssu v15 and early) you backuped...

custom transitions dont eat battery as per my knowledge, and even if it eats that just 0.05% extra ;)

Yes, i can share!

And i solved the rotate problem using the CSSU Configuration tool! Now the blacklist works.
But another problem came up. My desktop is freezing too much. If i open some apps or even making/receiving calls it freezes.
I think not just desktop, but the whole system and only get back to normal if i remove battery.
It might be because the transitions. I´ll replace with the original one and make some tests.
I´m attaching my modded transitions.

edit: the theme is iviilsteel Ovi theme with harmattan icons and the backgrounds i found somewhere else, but if you want i can send you my walls via email.

btw i'm also having the same freeze problem, and i think its because of vertical homescreen slide feature (in cssu features, please check), i still dont know whats the real cause of freezing because i used multiple things that would make freeze eg. email auto sync, vertical sliding homescreens, transitions, wifi always on etc.

it would be great if anyone point out the real cause..

So, now that you mentioned, i remember the freezes started after i installed CSSU Config tool and enabled the vertical transitions!!!
As you can see in my video, the transitions are horizontal, and after that video i installed Cssu config and enabled the vertical trans.
I´ll disable now and make some tests.

mine too, since 24 hrs ;) [SOLVED]

Note to everyone: If you have freeze problem with this or ANY other transitions.ini file then just disable vertical scroll from CSSU features app.

BTW Thanks for everyone who pointed out the problem and helped in solving... ;)
