Do you want to bet 1,000 dollars that after I waste my time posting these logs, I will still be unable to get my Mfe working? It will be the last 30 min I waste on another NOKIA failure. |

Re: N9/N950 Email/Mail for Exchange - Get help & give feedback here
Anyone else notice if you put M4E to push or to sync every 30 mins the battery drains like crazy? My phone is on a 4hr sync which nearing onto 2012 is just insane.
Thoughts on a how to fix this? |
Re: N9/N950 Email/Mail for Exchange - Get help & give feedback here
There's an option to just check constantly, forget how it's described in the settings.*
But I saw users with the same issue.... And they switched from intervals like yours to that, & it actually got much better. It seems counter-intuitive that it would, but it did for them. Of course if you want to use the interval, I'd suggest a full reset/re-flash & see if it goes. I have seen countless folk with weird issues, only to have them disappear after doing so. Also IIRC, the issue you're describing sounds very similar to at least one logged in the bug-tracker, try searching it. *don't have my N9 yet... |

The battery last more than a day easily and I get 50 mails on average (on the inbox + 6 other favorite folders) per day. There is definitely an issue in your setup. If you dont want to reflash, maybe it's a good idea to add some logging to find what happens. |

I spoke to my IT person and he says the following. The company uses active sync Exchange 2010, and it DOES NOT ALLOW SIMPLE PASSWORDS. He thinks that this may be the issue. Apparently Androids have had that issue and a program called "touchdown" allows android users to access the corporate email. He told me that this should be enough information for you to figure it out. Let me know if you need more. |
