Well, the easiest way is:

Then you should reboot the device (or restart all daemons (messageserver, msgindexer, as-daemon) and fenix).
I really hope that aegis will give you permissions to remove hose folders.

Actually, before deletion of the QMF db you can copy it on your PC and check the DB version etc. It could be a useful info to detect what is happened on your device (maybe it is a bug and might happen with other users as well?). Copy /home/user/.qmf/database/ directory on your PC. Open the DB (I'm using an sqlitebrowser) and check the QMF db table "versioninfo". One of the latest records should contain "mailthreads" with versionNumber "102". Also take a look at "mailthreads" table. It should contain 11 columns. Ohh, and if you don't mind I'd like to take a look on it too :rolleyes:

Hi all, like a promised an Alpha version of the app that can allow you to set your MfE/Email account settings to some officially unsupported values is ready. It is quite dummy application made during the evenings etc. :rolleyes:
So, the source code is available here:

.deb package is attached. First of all let me explain how it works. On the first page you should click on an account that you'd like to edit. On the second page you will see the list of ALL account's settings (currently they are shown as Strings). You looking for a setting that you want to change, changing it and then clicking on a "save setting" button (Yeah, I know UI is bad etc... :) ).

Now, about some "hacks":
1) As far as I remember there were a question about "how to sync all emails from my MfE account". Here is the answer:
All you need to do is to set the MfE account's setting "email/past_time" as 0 (and click "save setting" btn after that of course :-D ).

2) And about downloading full message's MIME. MfE accounts have 2 settings: "email_mime" and "email/email_mime". If you want to enable it then change both settings to "TRUE".

WARNING and NOTE:
1) The first 'hack' might confuse you a bit, because after that you will see sync back mails option as "3 days" value in the accounts application (plus it might overwrite this setting in the DB, so it's better to not save it at all (or even not open mail account settings)).
2) This application (MeMailSettings) is made by my self and it is not the Nokia app.
3) If you will change something to an invalid value your account(s) can become "wild" and do something nasty, so please be careful and change anything only on your own risk.
!!!!THIS IS NOT SOMETHING RECOMMENDED TO DO. DO IT IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. DO IT ON YOUR OWN RISK !!!!!!!

P.S. Later I want to add folders mapper into this application for the servers that do not support XLIST.
P.P.S. If I missed any hack that I told you before, feel free to ask me about it again :) I'll give you an answer (if I can ;) ) about how to do it.

Not sure if this is the right place to discuss this -

When I deactivate an account (e.g. a google account) and turn it back on the Schedule settings for it are changed. E.g. I have set it to "stay up to date" for peak and off peak times however after de activating it and re activating it the off peak schedule is set to "off". Peak is unaffected.

Unfortunately I only use google accounts. I have tried it with all three and the bug is reproducible.

I can no longer use MfE at all - it won't sync, complaining of incorrect user/password. The portal for my MfE account also complains that the device has bad authentication. Yet I have double, triple, quadruple checked that the password is correct. And I have had issues with having to re-enter passwords on other accounts (Nokia account, Caldav account) as well, as if all the passwords had been reset (not by me). However the other passwords were accepted, but not for MfE - I just keep getting the error, over and over again. MfE is useless for me...

It's worse - it's asking for passwords on ALL the accounts - CalDav, Nokia account, all the email accounts, all the CalDav accounts, Skype, and the MfE account. As soon as you enter all these, it asks for them all over again. Something is seriously screwed up here.

hmm, Google account's plugin is maintained by another team. Will send your post to them just to make sure that they are aware about it.

Let me guess, you did restore after flashing the PR1.2? I've seen a couple of similar problems. Nothing to do here from our side. As far as I can see that issue is under investigation atm.
