there are just so many misleading keyboards like the fastsms, the vertsms and what not , none of them are integrated within the cssu either... there should be just one good app that can be used as default

This should really be considered! it wasn't to important before but now that potrait mode is quite decent with the last cssu version, someone should make this.
first i thought some swype-like keyboard but that would be asking to much. Just a good portrait qwerty/azerty keyboard.

Use built in, the only shitty with that is the numbers buttom can be hard to hit, and the Cpoy/Paste buttom on the left side is very hard to hit but I rarely us it.
Other wise, from my experince the built in works best. And its fast too.

We have to admit that original Nokia vkb looks pretty good with portrait but try to use it with only one hand - IMHO it's nearly impossible. Maybe it's possible to make an alphanumeric keyboard for portrait and leave qwerty for landscape?

But in my opinion original vkb it's have really messed up buttons. Those from FastSMS are really better :)

focus on latin based languages

english, french, spanish and Portuguese,

it makes easier to implement

alternatively, grow your thumb nail and file it to a point, problem solved yes? :)
