This can be achieved by putting to Default rule 50% and creating a rule for the special case and putting there 100%. |
Re: [Announce] ProfileMatic for Harmattan
Hi firstly huge Thanks for great app!
Let me ask- is it possible to add backlight setting to profilematic? Something like- full brightness during the day and switch to less bright setting during night? Or have anyone idea how to do that via script? Thanks in advance. |
Re: [Announce] ProfileMatic for Harmattan
You can set brightness using gconftool-2:
Code:
gconftool-2 -s /system/osso/dsm/display/display_brightness $VALUEThis only affects the main display brightness, not the low-power mode. |

Re: [Announce] ProfileMatic for Harmattan
Beta release updated here:
http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...postcount=1022 This beta update is only about translations. The main thing is that there's a small translation update that translators can test with if they have the time to update the translation. Otherwise the beta has been updated with all the translations. Changelog: - Automatic name for rule translateable (if user has not filled rule name) - New translations: polish, russian, swedish, taiwanese - Existing translations updated from transifex |
Re: [Announce] ProfileMatic for Harmattan
Russian translation will be changed a bit, I'm working offline :)

@ajalkane
Me too want to see brightness settings in Profilematic. Not just the system brightness settings. I wish to set brightness as low as 1. System brightness setting's lowest point is 12. So please consider that point. PS: Currently using Coderus system menu and brightness extention to set lowest point at always 1 w/o interruptions from ALS. |
