The EGNOS SDK has been released - you might be interested
Hello everybody!
Some time ago I participated to an online survey for the European Commission, they were developing an SDK for app developers. This SDK allows to take advantage of EGNOS, the European system that provides enhanced positioning accuracy and other features (e.g. information on the reliability of the position itself). I received an email today announcing that the SDK has been released. It looks interesting, in particular for GIS applications (my field of activity). If you want to try it out, it's available for free on the EGNOS Portal (http://www.egnos-portal.eu/developer...egnos-toolkits ). Once I get used to it, it would be great to talk about its potential applications :) Cheers Matteo |

"So far, it is fully useable by Android phones, iPhone (providing BTStack is installed) and Blackberry phones. The SDK has also been developed for Windows Phone 7." Great. Even a (I guess) EU funded project manages to look like a US thing. |
