I installed the pulseaudio packages on 28th October. They are running without problems for me since then. Thanks for everyone keeping the N900 alive.

I have been using the latest CSSU-devel pulseaudio packages for few days and they work fine on my device as well.

what files should i download and install. as i m having after the latest update there i sno ringtone working but after i go in profile menu and save it again it works. for time being and then stops working again. i cant understand.

i dodwnloaded all deb files in link posted by pali for updated network fix files and i get incompatible error while trying to install..

pelase anyone can help me?? as having issues with ringtone.

Above patch enabled PA syslog. I need it for BME replacement, so replacement libbmeipc.so (which is used by PA modules) can write debug/error info to syslog. Also for debugging is syslog usefull.

But if PA writing some useless info to log, then this should be disabled (instead disabling syslog completely)

That is not a reason to have it enabled in CSSU IMO, you can as well edit that file by hand if needed (or tell the one that needs it now to do it)
