Everyone who has problem try to use new merlin version:
http://cdnm.at/~christian/maemo/ke-r...9-14_armel.deb

Next problem is that MAG's version in CSSU-T repo creating invalid symlink /etc/init.d/ke-recv. So before installing new version bad symlink must be deleted.

Code:

$ wget http://cdnm.at/~christian/maemo/ke-recv_3.19-14_armel.deb
$ rm -f /etc/init.d/ke-recv
$ dpkg -i ke-recv_3.19-14_armel.deb

I will begin shortly to try this out...

please wait a couple of minutes

Re: [Announce] CSSU Testing thread

merlin1991 now pushed fixed version to CSSU T repo.

But before upgrading from bad version is also needed to remove that dead symlink /etc/init.d/ke-recv

Re: [Announce] CSSU Testing thread

Like pali said the repo now contains a fixed build that should work fine for everyone (ke-recv version 3.19-15) the metapacakge also got updated to 3.1 so anybody who didn't try to update yet should be clear to go (just refresh the catalogues in ham first).

Everyone who already updated to the broken version should run (as root)
Code:

rm -f /etc/init.d/ke-recv
apt-get update
apt-get install mp-fremantle-community-pr
dsmetool -b

Beware the last command reboots the device

Thanks for fast reaction, guys. BTW, isn't it possible to execute necessary command automatically, via post-inst script? It would help those few unwise guys, that use CSSU Testing without reading this thread, and spam forum with help request.

Yea, I'm not sure if we should take pity on them, yet, for the sake of good will ;)

BTW - just for clarification - what about people that updated to broekn version, yet haven't restarted device since, then, fixed it manually, then updated to fixed CSSU? Is the:
Code:

dsmetool -b
...necessary? Common sense and my (very limited) knowledge tells me that it isn't, but would like to be 100% sure :)
