after unsuccesful attempt of downgrading to PR1.1 my N9 rebooted and the app menu is back in normal...I can scroll easily and work with my folders...
but the KEYBOARDS are still gone...
I can go to Swype settings but in Text Input there`s simply nothing to choose from...
so I`m unable to type anything on the phone....the KB won`t appear...
what exactly should I do via WinSCP terminal?

If you tried to tweak you new PR1.2 with old N9 QTweak app (for PR1.1)

Temporary solution:
1) Download my temporary backup from PR1.2
2) Extract from ZIP, connect your phone to PC via USB cable and transfer folder BPR1.2TP to your phone (/home/user/MyDocs) <- this is a root directory for user.
3) open terminal as ROOT (devel-su, pass: rootme) and write:
If you have problem with vkb -> connect you phone with WinSCP as ROOT and transfer folder usr (from BPR1.2TP) directly to main directory = root (NOT /home/user/MyDocs). This will ask you to override usr folder in your phone, press YES to all... Reboot your phone..

I extracted the USR file to the Root of my N9 while it was connected as a Mass Storage...correct?

nope, I did exactly what you said just now...
usr folder directly to the phone`s root..
no sign of replacement of anything, though...
rebooting now..

NOT exactly, if you use USB cable You need to transfer BPR1.2TP folder to root and after this you need to run the terminal command.

Ok, so once again pls...
I have no VKB...it simply doesn`t work...
so I won`t be able to run cmd in the phone without it...

when I open Text input in Settings it says Installed input methods (0), No keyboards installed...:confused:

so close yet so far......seem like WINSCP won't let me access the nokia n9 as root.......
