Maybe Im not getting this correctly... Wouldnt copy the meegotouch folder TO /usr/share/themes/base/meegotouch/meegotouch/? Thats what I thought it did, copy the folder with its contents to the set destination.

i see the problem....

cp -R /home/user/MyDocs/Faster Darker/meegotouch/ /usr/share/themes/base/meegotouch/

Was the problem that I was using tab to autocomplete "Faster Darker" and that turned it in to "Faster\ Darker/"? Cause other than that it seems completely the same :o .

Wouldnt that command above try to move

/home/user/MyDocs/Faster

to a folder called Darker/meegotouch/

?


edit: nevermind, the /cp -R /home/user/MyDocs/Faster\ Darker/meegotouch/ /usr/share/themes/base/meegotouch/ worked.

Cool! Now all I need is the brains to invent a timemachine and go back to the point where I thought "meh, I dont need to back up those folders".

Or that someone uploads the normal files in an easy "cp -R /home/user/MyDocs/usr/ /" type of way :P .

Really want to have the option to revert back easily if need be. Those bubbles are annoying me ;) .

Change 'em...
Make them on photoshop, format should be .png and then paste to messaging-ui.

But other than that I like it!!! Its cool that its doable at all, really.

Will create a theme of my own. ASAP. Also: new icons, kind of been working on some. Good times.

Tried to use the theme changer and have got nothing but problems, missing emoticon icons and all sorts..

Wish I never bluddy bothered and just stuck with manually installing the dark theme..

Now im trying to get back to my nice default blanco without that damn theme manager installed.. Hopefully this works, otherwise im gonna just give up and reflash the damn thing..

Just a slight warning, be careful when using the theme manager..
