True. I had that thought at first but considering the app menu doesn't have anywhere to put a "Home" button.
Pretty limited to what you can use for those top left buttons.
Suppose it could actually be considered an indicator to show that you're actually on the home screen.

thx for update, 2 comments i have:
the back arrow, on the right top corner on some appllications ( like mediaplayer ) it is in the wrong direction, like a forward arrow. please change his dirrection.
the home thing is quite strange, and the style does not belong here. :)

edit: i think, instead of the house (home), u could put 15 dots, circles.., on three lines (5x3), like the application list that u see on press.i was thinking, and probably the best possible solution.

There is a 1 at the end of the filename, do you have the rest of them? I'd like to have such a loopable wallpaper.

i have the latest update of this theme >> but the loading icon which is Similar to meego not Beautiful and the old one it's much pretty from this.

can you upload this icon and tell me where to put it ?

I found these things annoying as well. Luckily I still had the .tar of the old version of this theme, so i manually replaced all the old icons :)

This icon is placed in /usr/share/themes/harmattan-black/images/
and is called wmProgressIndicator.png
I attached the old one.

edit: Fun part is, the image is white, so itsnt visible on this background :) But its there allright :)

Yea I thought I was the only one. just go to /usr/share/themes/harmattan-black/images and flip the icon (with your pc) for now until the author comes with an update.

Huge thanx to sogoodbye for such a beautiful work. I just wanted to share my lockscreen cuz I saw the one you included in the latest update was just an ordinary background.

I have some trouble trying to figurate it out which mails I read and which I havent.... they are all white and look very similar.

Can you make it a bit different plz?

i really suggest u guys go to use qtlockscreen like i do..it work very nice..as least for me...hmm...next update still working on it...juz get some n9 source but quite busy nowadays but i trying to make it fast:D

use theme customizer and change the "active font" to #606060 and u will get like this :)

Download the attachment in my previous post and move the picture "lockslider" to /usr/share/themes/harmattan-black/backgrounds
The rest of the files to be moved to /usr/share/themes/harmattan-black/images .. then restart your phone

IHaha I changed so much to this theme that I wrote a script to change all the icons and images automatically :P
It replaces the lockscreen, back button, battery icons (i colored them green to red according to the fill-level) as well as the menu buttons :)
Still, i find the theme as-is very neat! Thanks to sogoodbye for the effort he put in to it! :)

version 1.0.3 is done...rework some icon and add in some new backgrounds ..it will be a final version if no hav anymore bugs..i'll upload it this coming thursday...

what's with that background image in HAM? Before we see actual background, for a moment we can see some image that I can't tell where is it from. And it was like that on previous version.

-FIxed the OVI widget.
-Rotate the background of application manager,clock,mediaplayer upside-down to make it more clearly to see the words.
-Added back the multitasking icon.

I only see on thing missing piece in this theme. Font colours seem odd to me, in applications such as email client (Modest) and Series Finale, the already seen items are using a clearer tone while unseen/unread items are greyer which is quite confusing to me.

I also see difficult to read the grey fonts in dates for Advanced Calendar, Personal IP Address and Personal Dataplan Monitor widgets.

u can change the font color with theme customizer to watever color u like..this matter been discuss before

Conky is not working after installing this theme. It loads for a couple of seconds then screen gets white and close
