Woa, this doesn't work on my system anymore, can't even detect my own pin (-p 12345678). I recommend sticking with version 1.3 for now.

Walsh (version 1.3 or 1.4) has not been able to detect my system; it just sits there without ever reporting my AP.

Edit: This version, even though it has the -p bug described above, seems much faster, current pin rate is averaging at 11-12 secs/attempt. At this rate we are still looking at days to search all the keys.

i have a question, if used reaver cracked router pin,
how to use the pin concent router on N900.
when i clicked a enable wps rofuter in internet connceting list.
it show a "WIFI protect steup" winows,i chicked "PIN method" button.
it show "input a 8 digit on wireless station and press done"
look like,it's not need N900 input PIN?

Router You're trying to crack request manual setting of PIN, instead of using pre-definied one.

Which is bad for You, as it clearly indicates, that you're trying to crack someone else's network - probably acting against someone's work/pleasure (as wps cracking highly influence router's operations). Stop doing it at once, and go educate yourself, instead.

This release of reaver is still buggy; -p option still not working, and the normal mode also seems very buggy. Walsh still cannot find my AP.

It should work and Walsh find AP. When Walsh was installed in /opt/reaver/bin/, also not found AP.

Probably not the "best", but should get you going:

1. Copy the tarfile (attached somewhere in this thread latest unstable compiled release or stable release) to you favourite location on your N900.
2. Unzip/untar

Code:

tar -xvzf reaver&walsh.tar.gz

3. Make sure you copy it to an executable location /opt/usr/bin (ie. not in MyDocs)
4. Ensure it is executable

Code:

sudo chmod 755 reaver

5. Run it

Code:

sudo reaver -i mon0 -b XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX -vv

6. Read this thread and see what other people have managed to do, especially all posts from Estel, her post #34, also post #2 and #6; as well as post #41.:)
