SWYPE how to backup/store/restore own dictionary
 
...because I introduced so many words to swype Ia m iterested in saving the dictionary for restoring it after hard reset.

Where can I find it through the explorer?

It might get backed up with the built in backup program!

I actually would be more interested to be able to remove words which i accidentally added.

select or type the added word, then choose remove. done. there's no option to browse through the custom dictionary though and that's a shame.

Unfortunately, its not. I know because I had to restore my backup and I lost all custom words from swype.

Soon I need to flash again, so would like to know the answer to OP's question also.

The files have to be somewhere in /home/user/ in a hidden folder.
If you have access with SSH, you simply could search for it and copy all files to your computer and restore them afterwards.

Yes, you're right. The language database can be found from this path:

/home/user/.swype/data

Backupping the whole .swype directory should be safest.
