I reflashed and reinstalled lspmagic from within PR 1.2. It doesn't work for me either. I really ejoyed it, and I hope to be able to use it again soon.

Updated. Do not install 1.4 on something < PR 1.2. It will fail

I got some problems whit lpsmagic.

When this PR1.2 version of Meego Harmattan came. Lpsmagic stops working, and reinstall didn't help. Yes I know there is that 1.4version which works in PR1.2 but now i have strange problem.

When I updated this PR1.2 the answering to calls come bit strange. There was no more this lock screen and name of the caller down part of the screen. When call is coming. And I take my phone out off my pocket there was this screen where you choose green or red handset.

At first I didn't know why is it. Then I clear device and all seems to work fine. After that I installed Angry Birds, cuteTube, Filebox and lpsmagic 1.4 version.


In morning i was suprised because my N9 do not woke me up. I noticed that alarm went off at first but alarm sound stops nearly immediately. Because there was this screen whrer you can choose stop alarm or snooze. Normally there should be this lockscreen and down of the screen you can read alarm name, and alarm is ringing as long as you swipe screen down to up. There was no this lockscreen at all when alarm went off.

I also notice that this call answerin problem came back. Then I start to thing why. So first thing was remove latest software that I was installed after clearing device. Some of reason I first remove lpsmagic and reboot the device and everything works perfectly again. Answering and alarm clock.

Is it so that no one else do not have this problem :confused:? Anyone have any idea why I got this problem. Lpsmagic is really great software and I want to use it, but I also have to woke up in the morning to work :D

Tested and confirmed lpsmagic 1.4 prevented the alarm from working properly. It will ring once then stop. Hope this can be corrected soon.

What? How the hell is this even possible? The alarm framework isn't touched by lpsmagic. Could anyone make a screenshot? Are you sure it's lpsmagic?

I seriously doubt it. Other users that were not using your lpsmagic mod have had their alarms not work with PR1.2.

Actually lpsmagic affected the lockscreen which affected the alarm on/off. Another effect is when a call is received there is no more Swipe to Answer screen.

Anyway, glad the problem is fixed. I

You can see live my TODO list in the first post. (I use it for my priorities). The first 3 (text,bat and hints) are the blockers for the alpha release of 2.0.

I'm currently on battery module (as of now it supports displaying capacity in mAh, % and power consumed in mW and W. Time remaining is in progress. I also need to document the usage of modules.).

ETA is never accurate for my type of coding. It may be out in a couple of hours(if i don't get sleepy) or a couple of days if university duties appear (it's super effective!). I hope i can release this week.

Battery life: depends what modules you put in the config, and if you use special configurations (tickless and render hints).

Anyway follow the TODO list as i check it as soon as i finish a feature.

Oh and by the way, lpsmagic 2.0 alpha, being in C++ and currently about 1400 lines of code (vs 130 for 1.4.1) has quite a lot of potential bugs.

Was using this great app on 1.1 but for the life of me I can't get it installed on 1.2 - seems to get hung up on the python dependencies - no clue how to fix - apt-get -f install gives me unsigned after agreeing to download.

Any suggestions?

I tried to install 1.4.1 on PR1.2 but it said "installation interrupted" at the end of the installation. I clicked retry once but it's the same. By the way, I tried to install the mm/dd/yyyy version. Not yet try the dd/mm/yyyy if it has the same problem for me.

This is the first time I tried to install ipsmagic.

Edit: same problem for me with both mm/dd/yyyy and dd/mm/yyyy version.

Hi, I have tried installing and uninstalling the latest lpsmagic mod (v1.4.1), but the alarm clock problem (alarm stops ringing after ringing once) still persists even though lpsmagic has been uninstalled. Could it be that something else has been altered?

There was another thread were most PR1.2 users found the bug was gone when they kept the latest version installed.
But I guess that's not much help if you definitely don't want it installed...
