Can you try re-installing the packages?

apt-get install --reinstall camera-ui camera-ui-settings-005 libomap3camd libqcamera1 -y
Also do you have cutetube installed? Have you tried killall cutetube if so?

I tried to re-install, but I got error message camera-ui-settings-005 not found.

Actually camera hasn't been working after PR1.3 was released. I was too lazy to re-flash, but the display went black couple of weeks ago and I send my phone to Nokia care and after repair it was reflashed. I have taken 6 photos and now camera is not responding again..

I had before repair cutetube installed, but not now.

Not responding again. Maybe I must to reflash it..? Does any other program affect to the camera than cutetube ? I have these installed: Voddler, Meecast, Profilematic, Quickbeer, Opera, Cityscene, Meetrainer, NettiTutka, Solar System, Firefox, Sportstracker, Mapsi, QAD cleaner, Panorama, The Flashlight, CameraPro free, Cameraplus and Snowshoe.

Can you try removing CameraPro free?

Run "ps -A | grep camerapro" to see if camerapro is running. It sometimes goes zombie, doesn't quit without killing and prevents camera-ui from working.

I removed camerapro but no help. Actually, I noticed that flashlight does not work. I tried The Flashlight and PhoneTorch. Is that problem directly connected to camera? HW failure?

After replacing the battery only camera does not work ...
I tried everything, flash sw, camera ui install ... and nothing. I'm desperate!

When starting N9 red light (Camera) LED blinks and everything is functioning normally.

dex87,

Most probably after replacing the battery you didn't fit in the contacts and wires of everything properly... Try opening it and re-fitting everything again ;)
