For Sale: N9, black, 16Gb
 

I'm posting my N9 for sale...reluctantly. I purchased it new from Amazon USA in November 2011, and used it sparingly at best. That is kind of the problem, my usage patterns don't lend themselves to keeping the N9 on top of my main phone. I love the device (most beautiful phone I've held I think), and MeeGo is beyond terrific, but my lack of use is making me sad, and I can't justify keeping a $600+ phone just to play Heebo. :)

I purchased a N900 off TMO about one year ago, and it was a very pleasant experience, so I thought I would post the N9 here first and offer it up to the community before I explore other methods of sale.

Little history on the phone: it's been in the included Nokia fitted protective case since the day I opened it, all accessories are in their original plastic and unused, I have original box and papers. I haven't installed anything bizaare or done anything that would otherwise require a re-flash. I don't smoke, or have pets, and I'm maticulous about my gadgets so the N9 was babied. No hardware issues (i.e., breaking usb trap door, creaking body, scratches on the camera chrome, etc). This phone was manufactured in China, and is black, 16Gb version currently running PR1.1 which came over the air just a few weeks after I got the phone.

I think a fair price is $450 shipped to a US address. I'd like to ship to someone in the US as shipping internationally kinda freaks me out. PM me if there's interest, and we can work out the details, paypal/etc. Thanks!

We don't have the rights to use it, much less port it over... If it was possible Nokia would have done it...

Impossible, No, not likely yes...

If you don't want an N9, don't buy one.

Personally I am very let down by the camera but over time I have come to love my N9, with all it's flaws and all.

It is a relic of when I believed in Nokia. A time I dreamed of being part of the company... Those dreams are over.

As a close friend once told me that worked at Nokia: I should sleep for a last time in this office.

And that line broke my heart.

i want it badly sir, with all my respect, i never mean anything, how bout the unreplaceable battery? i have to save my money for 1year and finally my money get enough to buy this device, i would like to choose maemo rather than android, i dont need thats 500k app, :)

There are no problems with the replaceable battery, it can be replaced, but not worth the work. Personally the N9 isn't for everyone. Go play with one before you decide to buy one.

I am biased about the N9. A lot of N900 users don't want an N9. Whereas I was excited to get one. It has replaced my N8 and I was perfectly happy with it. Had the N9 had a 12mp camera I would have kept it for many years to come, as it is.

I don't miss the keyboard at all. I don't need flash because I can't think of any specific place that I need it. External memory? With 64GB, I've tried my hardest to fill up the N9 and I still have 25.1GB of space left

it will be perfect experience when surfing in web with flash plugin, flash game on fb for example? can we make a petition for nokia to give N9 that flash plugin? maybe? i want it badly, i dont care bout the lack of app or support, just like my N900 then, its abandoned but never gonna old, :)

I don't use facebook games so I can't comment on that. Petitioning Nokia won't help much, we are the lost and forgotten ones at this point.

About flash, Adobe stopped support for all mobile platforms as of androids ics. They won't develop any more. So no a petition wouldn't help.
If you really need flash the only way is an android device :)
