N9 Warranty for importat devices
 

So i just thought i write some lines here about how they handle imported N9´s. With that, I mean that i bought my N9 in Germany and it was imported from Denmark. Now i bricked my device with apt-get dist-upgrade (never do this) and brought it to Nokia Care. It wasnt a problem, after 8 days, i had a new device.

I write this here, because Nokia has this limited warranty note or something that tells you, that you only have warranty if the device is meant to be sold from Nokia in your country or something like that and as some of you might know, Germany is not one of those countries so it shouldnt be much of a problem :)

Nokia's Limited warranty it heldup EU-wide thanks to EU laws.
But yes, generally it is country specific.....

That's good news. Congrats & Thanx for the share.

However, as Jalyst correctly opined, if u had a [say]Denmark sold N9 & u currently reside in the [say]US, Nokia-Care wouldn't touch u thru a barge pole!
