Can you try 0.1.3 for me? And tell me if the issue still happens?

Glad to hear! Thanks for that.

Next update will be either text size being larger or auto-updating of the icon :)

Stay tuned!

This will be the last part of the app. I am using the app icon to gain the technique of writing to an image and once that is perfected, I will move on to getting it in the status bar :)

Re: [Announce] Battery Percentage 'widget' for Nokia N9 - V0.1.3

I freshly installed V0.1.3 (no previous version installed), but it doesn't work (even after a reboot), it just gives a blank icon.
The /home/user/.BatteryWidget/percent.sh seems to be missing (there's only Icon_Widget.png in the .BatteryWidget folder).

That is because v0.1.3 has all the scripts in the /opt/BatteryWidget folder, as Nokia guidelines specify not to use the home/user drive for app storage, unless necessary, and only necessary files are percent.txt and Icon_Widget.png

Can you run sh /opt/BatteryWidget/percent.sh and tell me if that makes it start working? Test it afterwards by plugging to charger and tapping icon. "Chrg" should appear if app works correctly

Thanks, the icon now shows the percentage. But when I plugged the charger and tapped the icon, it didn't change. Only after typing the command again (and tapping the icon) it changed to "Chrg" (also after removing the charger and tapping the icon, it didn't change back). Haven't rebooted yet and not much time to test it, but just what I got now.
