Energy profiler update error
 

today I received several updates for my N9, installed them and got the following notifications:

Energy profiler server error: failed to start plugin Wakeup

Wakeup plugin error: failed to start timer - no write access to /proc/timer_stats

Any hints are welcome.

That's really weird because i had those 3 developer updates for my N9 and it felt like a huge battery improvement. I do loads of texting and web browsing. From the early morning charge till the evening it gets as low as 26%. It's my second day now (After the update) and the battery is still at 70% and I swear I used it as much I always do but it seems to hold the charge much better.

Maybe those updates change something within the Energy profiler and your update failed to do so?

I have same problem. Update broke Energy Profiler. If I click start button in energy profiler, there will be two system notifications :

Energy profiler startup error : failed to start plugin wakeup.
Wakeup plugin error: failed to start timer no write access to /proc/timer_stats.

is this tool based on powertop ? where can i see the sources ?
