maemo.org - Talk - Nokia N9 PR 1.2 official released.

I read reports from people having force updated their N9 to PR1.2 by going to OVI store and trying to download GTalk video call. That forced their devices to OTA update to PR1.2 alongside. I wont hurt if you try it.

It's possible, after all it's not an official way of doing things. It worked for me, YMMV.

Lost your patience? Just flash with NDT firmwware. I had a QUICK look at both FW for the Swiss variant and they are identical apart from some certificates.

Have you tried to force update by downloading GTalk video from OVI? I wonder if this works.
