Moko Finger scrolling?

Does anyone know what this is? Is it myth tv or what? Is the finger scrolling attached to the program or an addition to it. This kind of thing would be great for the N800.

Thanks!

It's not a fake, it's real.
Again a INDT guy do it for the tablets: http://tuxrecife.blogspot.com/2007/0...er-scroll.html

But the real developer for this function in GTK was Chris Lord: http://chrislord.net/blog/kinetic-scrolling.enlighten

Cheers.

Re: Moko Finger scrolling?

Ideally I'd like to see this as an option in GtkScrollable: any scrollable widget could be enabled so that dragging on its background scrolled the viewport, with a configurable amount of acceleration/inertia.

Then every app would get it for free :-)

For anyone wanting to try the OpenMoko Finger Scroll Widget example on an n800 (not sure if it works on a 770), check this out:

Re: Moko Finger scrolling?

Now, who wants to write some python bindings for that thing so I can release a version of Kagu that uses GTK and OpenMoko instead of pygame?
