Yes, a VNC client was also my first idea while reading quim's post, good you have already mentioned it.

I read several weeks ago there are some progress at "Presence VNC" but the lack of virtual keyboard support for non qml applications seems to be currently a big problem for the developer. But I don't know the current status and I'm even not sure if it was Presence VNC where I read this... ;)

** There are currently no VNC clients for the N9 to connect to a tightVNC server, I miss it to check who is writing on icq while sitting on the couch and watching tv. ;-)

there is also clearly a need for a communication software like whatsapp, I would suggest to developp a communication soft based on e-mailing that has about the same UI as Whatsapp.

=> mostly Word and Excel

Dreambox App
=> Profiles for connecting to 1-2 Devices over Wifi and 1-2 connection over 3G
=> Reboot, Turn on/off and all other control command
=> list of all Channels and a command to Record the Channel
=> Streaming over Wifi/3G if its possible

Music Indificator
=> Soundhound or Shazam

Fritzbox App
=> See Android/iOS
=> if possible, with Fritz!Load control
