really with tweaks like yours didn't touch system file, nokia sucks for not doing this :<

I've been in direct contact with the developer for Homescreen settings. He's from Nokia and he actually developed the *default* homescreen so no, it doesn't change any filesystems :)

by the way, how could I install it if it changes system files and im not in developer mode?

I'm not saying Homescreen settings changes system files. I'm saying the last version of FasterN9 does.

I'm not sure it is a requirement to enable developer mode to change system files. Did you install FasterN9 without being in developer mode? Did it worked? If so, installation scripts can change system files without being in developer mode.

Not a question anymore. I uninstalled FasterN9, disabled developer mode, rebooted the phone, installed FasterN9 and it worked, it did change the system files even with developer mode disabled.

It really works , I'm impressed , now all menu lag is gone . I tested it in settings , where always I had lag in scrolling first 3 seconds , now it's all smooth .

Good job traysh , cheers ! :)

Probably, tough I didn't tested. If you try it and it works, please tell us.

It works with N9 Quick Tweaks. However, the caveat is that N9 QuickTweaks is a collection of 40+ tweaks and hacks, so its really a question of which tweaks you have enabled.

I have around 6 hacks enabled plus Home Screen Settings. FasterN9 v 0.9.3 is working fine for me. :)

Well, no problems here. I'm using 12 tweaks with that Qtweak. I don't know yet did this do my N9 any faster. W'll see.

Hmm...I thought Home Screen Settings + N9QT was a no-no. Which 6 are you using?

It is .... if you use the equivalent homescreen settings in N9 QT. Slightly off topic, but if it helps others, I am using:

A. Speed Up Transitions MODs
L. Change Outgoing & Incoming Calls icons
M. Feed & Notification header/title colors
N. Restore your favorite Ringtones
Q. Enlarge Caller ID Avatar
R. Change standard emoticons; and
X. Enlarge/Restore conversation font size

ok, I can't count! :)
