Try uninstalling Faster N9. Or if you don't want to get malf you could try opening the app through the terminal.

The .desktop files are in usr/share/applications.

There will always be slowdowns when installing apps, so it's not caused by FasterN9. This is a non-issue, to be brutally honest.

Someone who has firewall Pro installed please list it's files with dpkg -L nameOfThePackage. I'll try to solve this problem

Traysh,
i am reporting on v0.9.9:
- stock apps take slightly longer to load on first loading after a boot up but are very fast from second loading onwards

- 3rd party apps are slowed down to at least twice the time they would take previously take to load.

- cant report on tracker issues yet as its been only an hour since i installed it

- pulse and qneptunea do load but as above they take quite some while to open

My firewall plus pro works flawlessly with faster N9 installed.

are you sure, its work, but if new spam message comes, my device give me a notification and an sms icon there, but for a sec its gone and go to firewallpluspro, thats what exactly happened here sir, just report it, or any advice how to solve it?

I just have to move the firewall plus pro daemon to a group with higher priority, theoretically this is easy to do. But I have to be home and have time, so be patient

Wazapp is also not a stable release yet, so this might not be caused by fastern9. Uninstall fastern9 and try again please

I've installed and uninstalled wazapp 3 times now with fasterN9 installed.

What version of firewall plus pro are you using? That issue isnt here.

0.9.9 works stunning on my N9! Had some lag now and then.. But now it's gone!! And everything opens noticeable faster! :)

I installed the latest version since uploaded today and i have experienced no problems at all including using of wazapp !!

Just wanted to clarify whether it interferes with the SIP connection while using SIP calling coz i experience sudden disconnection from my SIP accont and it reconnects by itself within a second !

I suppose you have version 0.9.4 installed. If this is right, uninstall it prior to updating.

* Tried to fix Firewall Pro. Don't know if it worked, as I don't have it (paid app).

Someone please test it. If this problem also happens without FasterN9 and this fixes it, we should report back to the Firewall Pro developer.

No, 0.9.4 is the only one with a bug that prevents updates
