The application was working properly until 0.2.

Goto the account application on your homescreen and then wazapp and delete your account from there. When you relaunch wazapp, you can re-register the correct number.

I don't know if this has been asked before.

Does anyone know if the Whatsapp guys are OK with this app? Can they ask tgalal to "cease and desist" for some reason?

I still don't have my N9, but wife is asking for Whatsapp app or there will be no N9 for us, so you will understand how important this is for me. ;)

Try waiting for longer period like 12 hours before you try to register again or the server will keep on rejecting you.

I have tried that as well. I tried to register on a official Whatsapp in a Nokia C7 but it was rejected too. So, surely the problem is in the number and not in the application.

Well I'm not sure about that, I'm also unable to register my number (fail too many) but when installing whatsapp under Android SDK, I'm able to setup whatsapp without a sms or so. It seems to recognize my iPhone bought whatsapp account and starts to use it. Maybe wazapp does not recognize the servers return code?

I have done a small change to get it more Bluetooth keyboard friendly:

in Conversation.qml, add to the TextArea with chat_text as id:

In this way pressing esc will close the virtual keyboard, but focus will stay in the text area, meaning full screen conversation. Pressing ctrl+return will send the message aswell.

I don't know about other data (I supose not) but your phonebook will be sent to Whatsapp inc when syncing contacts.

I have one question how can i install on my Nokia N900? shows me a message about missing qt libraries, someone will have some compiled with these libraries?

You need the full N9 repository to enjoy flawless updates.

Try this app

http://harmattan-dev.nokia.com/pool/....4+0m6_all.deb

then do this apt-get update at the terminal
or do apt-get -f install to fix all dependencies if you force install using dpkg -i (wazapp package)

I want to report a very important BUG

When I registered Whatsapp on my N9, somehow it registered under a different ID, but same number. When I chat with my contacts on my N9 I will appear with my international format number, not under my own contact information. I had to tell them who I was even when they already had my number saved, then they have to manually save my number, which is duplicated, and delete the older one.

This is important, because, today I logged in my Nokia 808 and found some messages that didnt receive on my N9. This means that there are two accounts under my number and it has to do with the way Wazapp registers your number (international format). My friends on Windows Phone cannot register my international format number in any way, so I will appear with my number on Whatsapp, instead with my contact info..

Weird, I know, does anybody has this too? Or is it only me? I tried registering again, but doesnt work.

And the bug is also important, because this means that we have a international format account, and when we share our numbers with other people, we dont usually give it with international format, so the other parts will get confused, mostly because they will save it under contact info, and will receive our messages without iour names

I replaced the traffic light just for the fun of it and it works OK on my Wazapp. If anyone wants it just replace the three files in indicators folder with these attached in post (preview too).

The push name doesnt have anything to do with the accound ID. Seems im not the only one, I have checked on other phones, seems that its because of the first register I made via wazapp.

The first time I logged in using the added digit trick...in mexico my international code is +52, and then 10 digits. The first time I logged in using +528 (plus the first digit) so it was the same number, different registration.

If anyone else here is on the same boat, please share. I have currently deleted my account on wazapp, and registered again on new account, except that I have the fail too many with 1440 minutes, so will have to try tomorrow

Nice man, I have a request. Could you please use a plain white bubble on the dark theme? Right now Tgalal is using a smokey white which makes less contrast with the black letters. This doesnt look nice, in my opinion. Thanks!
