Hi!

I've got an issue with media - someone has sent me 3 pictures, I've downloaded all of them at once (to the same time). Now, no matter which picture of those 3 I click on, I can see only the last one..

Has anyone else also this problem?

Version: 0.9.20 nightly22.

I'm on Wazapp 0.9.20. I just copy-pasted a text from a website into the message window. Now whenever I keep writing to that same contact, the text input window shows wrong font & color. It's actually the font/color from the original text (website). This ONLY happens in the input windows. Text bubbles are not affected.

Other message windows/contacts also aren't affected and this bug happened using the dark theme. Bug can be fixed by restarting Wazapp or switching themes (white/black) back & forward.

Is it possible to add an option so that we can decide whether new messages scroll a conversation that we're already browsing if we're not at the bottom? I have quite a few group chats with friends and I'm always catching up on them, which is very hard to do when their new messages keep scrolling you to the bottom :)

Yeah its a bug, for now the work around is start typing a new message just when you press the space key after first word the font changes. Right?

If yes, then just press backspace button to edit that word and problem solved.. ;)

Thanks, the nightly works fine and adds a few other nice features :)

Are others still getting the issue where Wazapp will close itself automatically at least once a day? I'm not sure if this is an issue with FasterN9 (using the latest version 1.1.5 here). I don't really want to use a script to automatically load it up again as sometimes I like exiting Wazapp completely.

Hi. I have a little problem. I'm using version 0.9.20, I restore the firmware today, then I restored a general backup, then reistalled wazapp. Then I launched first time wazapp, and I found it already connected, thanks to the restore I did. So I close it, and copy the folder wazapp and .wazapp in the right places. Restarting wazapp, I found all my conversation. The strange thing is... if I go in tab Contact it's empty! Doing a sync doesn't help, the contact list remains empty. Of course the adress book of my N9 is full of all my 600 contacts. Any help?

EDIT: solved! when I restart the phone, all my address book disappear.... Then I remind I played with tracker-control.... I resynched with nokiasuite and everything is fine now. :o

Facing problems with changing profile pic on the latest nightly. The thing keeps loading infinitely after the image has been chosen and I have to quit and restart Wazapp to start receiving messages again. Anyone else facing this problem?

No, sorry. Just tried it and changed it to monkeys riding a giant hamster.

Hmm.. Seems there's this problem only with one particular image I was trying.. Jpg format, size below 200kb.. Wonder what could've gone wrong

Is the file name of your image too long? It happened to me once where the file name was too long, and I was not able to set the profile picture.

Ok problem solved! The file name earlier had a space in between.. Removed the spacing and the profile pic is updating normally :-)

:) i never understood why people use filenames with umlauts or spaces, problems are predictable ;)

Hi all, I tried version 0.9.20 nightly 22 of Wazapp, but I faced a problem (I think it is): with a 0.9.20 (not nightly) version, when i swipe the window down to close Wazapp (the Wazapp still remain in background) (or when the main window is open it's the same) and I disconnect N9 from Internet and all went well, the connection window won't open again, but with 0.9.20 nightly 22 when I try to do the above, the window of connection opens (and I click to cancel to close it) again and again repeatedly..
Is the above a bug or not (in the wiki there isn't nothing about that)?

I'm running 0.9.20.

I’ve been having a problem with sending messages: even when I’m online on Wazapp, messages I send (both to individuals and groups) just disappear – they neither appear on the screen, nor are they received on the other end.

This does not happen all the time… Sometimes the messages do get sent, sometimes they don’t.

Often this issue arises in the middle of a conversation, without me having changed anything that could have caused it.

Quitting wazapp and relaunching it does not solve the problem.

Is this a known issue? Is there any way to fix it?

Idea: jump to profile by tapping the pic on left side of contact like in rocket :)

That means 2 MouseAreas with diff onClicked handlers. Both invoking the same highlight Rectangle. :)

I don't know if this has been mentioned but there seems to be a bug when receiving multiple pictures on latest nightly. Downloaded images all show the same image or the first you opened. Any following will be the same as the first you opened. Can someone reproduce it?

Its a known bug and the work-around is to download each picture individually :)

It's possible to add the chance to download again the media? If i delete a media recive from wazapp i cant open it from conversation ( obviously ) but if i want to download it again i cant... This can "solve" the problem of multiple downloads. I dont want this things for this problem but i want because sometimes i delete the media for mistake..

I am using the latest nightly build. Whenever wazapp is running and i have no internet connection, the internet connections window always pops out. It will never disappear unless i connect to an internet connection. Any work around on this?

i had wazapp running properly
then i install nitdroid, and run whatsapp with same number n wazapp
then when i boot to meego again, wazapp says login failed
i try to re-verify wazapp via account menu but not successfull
i delete wazapp account
now i still can not register wazapp
how to fix this? ty

is there a way to start and stop wazapp from terminal?

i'd like to try and create a profilematic rule to shut it down when i'm not connected to the internet any more...

I tried this method. Create a rule where wazapp will open upon connecting to internet then closing when there is no internet connection. The custom command to close wazapp is "killall wazapp". But whenever I connect to the internet, wazapp is opened which suddenly pops up the wazapp splash screen which bugs me.

Hey guys,

A friend sent me a photo tonight on Wazapp and when I tried to open it and download it, it froze on initialising and then the Wazapp pop up box came up and said not responding so I clicked close. Now, when I went to re-open Wazapp my whole conversation from day 1 with that particular person including the pictures etc disappeared. I was wondering whether I can somehow get them back, especially the whole conversation because I didn't hit any button that said delete chat history or anything like that.

Really disappointed that this has happened and I would appreciate as much assistance and help as possible regarding this issue. Is there any possible way I can get the whole conversation history and photos back?

Hy guys,

Don't know if this happened also with some of you, so I'm sharing it here. I happen to have 2 N9s. I was using one with Wazapp, but it was very instable. From time to time, when I clicked on "send", the message I just wrote disappeared but was not sent. No matter what I did, it kept happening, I normally had to restart the device - and sometimes even doing this it wasn't enough.

Now I'm using my other N9. Wazapp was working perfect. Then I installed N9QTweak yesterday night. Now I'm using Wazapp and the same thing happened! When I click on "send", the message won't go to timeline, it just vanishes!!

Both N9s have N9QTweak installed. I don't know if this have any thing to do... any helps?? Thanks in advance.
