Is there any chance a dev can implement this? As I read this thread, it seems, that coderus is still working on the project, but I really dont know if its possible to have changes like that still implemented...

I think it would be really an improvement to have an option like: "stay permanently online", "update interval" and "manual connection" and I for myself would appreciate it.

I tried both at least to make something to work but eventually latest Coderus's nightly 24 worked out and registration #.

@ piloti -Had the same errors, i removed all from wazzap, and reinstalled latest version of Coderus, it works again like a charm, greetz.

OK, I've finally got it sorted.

I used the .9.2.0 nightly build 24 which is NOT available from the Wazapp home page, only from here.... http://openrepos.net/content/wazapp

@Coderus : is there a way you can load the nightly build package to the Wazzap N9 download page and not just from Openrepos..... ?

Now that it is working, it is working fine.

Hey guys..if I download the .deb file in the pc and transfer to the download folder in my n9...how do I install it from the phone? There's no folder/app for downloads in the phone eh?

I am having difficulties registering to wazapp. It keeps saying Fail : old version, even though i have the newest version. I also deleted everything involving wazapp on my phone and tried re-installing it. I used wazapp before but the last couple of weeks i have had a different phone. So the fact that i originally registered with an older version on wazapp might be the problem? Can anyone please help me....

wazapp always crashing after connecting .. any help to this pls

i got the same problems, but thanks to this wonderful community i was able to register my n9...here is what i did:
1-remove and purge current wazzap version
2-install nightly24 version
3-register via coderus yowsup site
4-if you get 'fail too many' ... wait for another 24 hours to register again

at least i did it this way with the help of other forum members...

Hello everyone, I'm new of the forum and i'm almost desperate. I love my nokia N9. Its not so long that i bought it and i really LOVE IT.

Now i started using Wazapp. It works great, except for the problem that the app fails to connect when i'm using the data mobile connection. It works perfectly when im using WiFi, but when i use the data mobile connection, the app remains in "...connecting" status.

Right now the version i have installed is the 0.9.20.0 Nightly 24
I tryed the:
0.9.20.0
0.9.20.0 nightly 22
0.9.20.0 nightly 23

none seems to solve the problem

i also tryed to unsitall the app and delete the .wazapp folder, but it doesnt solve the problem

any help? please???

also i unistalled the app using the app unistaller built in the phone.
while to delete the .wazapp folder i used filebox

hope someone can help me.

Becuase the .9.2 build does not work, and the nightly 24 does, and it would save a lot of d#!?ing around for a lot of people if the working build was on the down load page, not in trhe middle of 1000+ pages, that's f#?*ing why.......

Greetings from a desperate N9 user,

I'm totally newbie to hacking and all the stuffs related to terminal etc. For the past few days I've been experiencing an immensely annoying issue with Wazapp (both tarek and nightly versions). Initially the tarek version was working fine (for like nearly a year), then suddenly some **** happens and all my contacts are lost while Wazapp keeps delivering me messages that I've read numerous times (my friend tried to send me some new messages which did not get delivered at all). I restored the phone and completely purged Wazapp from the system and re-installed it (the nightly ver) afterwards. For the first day it was still working fine, but from 2nd day onwards it repeats the previous error of not delivering new messages while does not allow me to send new messages at all (i can type to the chatbox, but after pressing send it merely disappears). I then removed the nightly ver and switched back to tarek ver, which again worked fine for 1 day and repeated the same problem the day after (today). I removed tarek's ver and reinstalled nightly ver this afternoon and after working fine for a few hours the issue resurfaced.

To be honest, I've run out of patience and solutions. No one seems to have encountered this before, and I'm totally desperate as my entire group work this year is based on whatsapp discussion with groupmates. Thus, I sincerely beg for your assistance in this dire situation, from users and developers alike.

do you have any other suggestion to give me, in order to make wazapp work also with WAP data mobile???

also i checked that doing that ping command you suggested. it only shows the written 56 data bytes. once.
it does it either if im connected through wifi when wazapp works fine, or with data mobile, when wazapp doesnt work

Save it someone on the cloud, ie. dropbox and then send a link to it or paste the content to pastebin.com and set as private.

It worked for a couple of days, then it lost the connection.
Then I uninstalled it and reinstalled. Now it won't let me log in. Reason: blocked.
I would like to have this working fast ,I have some important conversations to continue, with a girl - if you know what I mean.
What are my options? I tried with a different phone nr. but it doesn't send the sms or voice call.

A lot of accounts was blocked because of unofficial client. We have no solution for now. You can only contact support for unblocking you and use nitdroid whatsapp.

i was blocked 3 times... just send them an email with your number and ask to unblock you.
they unblocked me everytime within 24 hours.

How to solve the connection problem? The truth is I first logged in to whazapp from a different city, then came home and started to have connection problems. I never managed to log in from this location before.
Do they block IP's, and I need to reroute my ip somehow? I might manage to get this working.

Please help, I tried Whatsupp on a different "phone" (Android clone for Windows). After doing that my N9 no longer works. It needs re-verifying because the MAC address changed but it keeps saying "Failed".

Installed nightly24.

How do I backup messages in my phone? Where are they located?

hello,

I traded my phone with my father's sgs3 so we swapped sim cards, but then i wanted my n9 back, so we re-swapped simcards. I uninstalled wazapp, then reinstalled the same version (0.9.20). now when i tried to activate, it says "fail reason old_version".
code through voice and "everything failing? try me" don't help either and bring the same error message.

i looked for other versions, but i couldn't find any newer.

does somebody have the same problem?

If you didn't find any solutions from previous 10 or so pages you really should try harder again
