He meant why does he rarely appear @TMO for ages now, & why has he chosen to base his entire project on a (Brazilian?) site, when in the past he'd usually do it here.
I believe it goes back to him having a disagreement with tglal (& perhaps others) over Wazapp...

Ah well, as long as whatsup works...

Would be nice to know what he is working on (if he is coding at all?) these days though...

I had this problem too, if you have a minimal knowledge with computers, you can copy the .db file of wazapp on your desktop, then edit it with a sqlite browser (I used the free sqlite database browser) and insert your contacts (if you can export your contacts in CSV, you can do that simply with Excel, everything with insert commands).
Then, copy the .db file again on your N9, launch wazapp and wow all your contacts will be there.

I dont use whatsup because it is slow to start. With wazaap, 2 seconds...

One thing that is bad with all whatsapp clients, is that when you go from 3G to Wifi or Wifi to 3G, wazapp or whatsup will connect and show you online :(

no, my problem is : I launch wazapp, so i'm online. I'm connected on my wifi, at home. That is ok.

now I leave home and dont have my home wifi anymore. So im connected with 3G, and without re-open wazaap, im online, until I re-open and close it again...

and again when i connect on a wifi

Yes. It's hard to explain.

When I leave a wifi network, my status in wazapp go "online "(connected)...

Here's an example.

I come at home and connect to wifi. I don't open Wazapp, but go sleeping.

At morning, my friends say me "hey, you was online in wazapp all the night"

Do you understand ? I try to be as clear as possible

when you swipe down application its not closed, just minimized. you need to choose menu - quit.

No!

If wazapp is running and you have internet access you are online in wazapp by default ! (regardless if the app window is open or not)

wazapp is running in the background and your status doesn't change if you just close the window...

When I am in Wazapp, my friends see "Online" on my profile
When I'm writing a message, my friends see "xxx is writing" on my profile
When I swipe down Wazapp, my friends see "Offline" on my profile

my problem is, when Wazapp is swiped down (so I appear Offline for my friends), every time I change my internet connexion (I move a lot during the day, going outside (3G), at work (Wifi), at home (other Wifi), my Wazapp appear itself as online to my friends... until I launch it and re-swipe it down...

So when I come late at home (and my N9 connects to my wifi), and go to sleep for example, my friends see me Online at 4am and sends me messages coz they think I'm online (that's only an example)

well, that seems like a bug but then you are out of luck anyway because wazapp is not under active development any more...

maybe try whatsup? works for me!

Hi all, question:

how do you guys get the verification code? I mean Whatsapp detects verification from Wazzap/Whatsup as old version so code does not come through. So I am wondering how you guys do it as I want to activate mine on my N9.

same problem here. I can generate a code using the above link, but when I put that code into my Wazapp, it still says Failed! Server said 'old_version'. What can we do about this?

Same here, somehow logged out from whatsup and can't login back now. Just says old version, i tried that coderus link, another phone etc. Always says old version..
