thank you for link. I have installed this version and now he says for fail reason: token, but when I tried to eneter code manually it said old version. Is it maybe because I am banned, because too many attempt of request?

I have a different problem. Wazapp doesn't sync my contacts. In the contacts list I get a blank page.

thanks, but this doesn't work either. I've tried the website before, a registration code was sent to my phone, I entered the code in Wazapp, but I keep getting the 'fail reason: old_version' message.

Any other ways to fix this?

Sorry, I don't know about your problems. I am using Whatsup and it's works fine but i haven't tried to register with it.

thanks coderus. are there plans to get a new version online any time soon? Wazapp is the only program keeping me from getting a new phone. I don't want to change, everything still works perfectly but Wazapp/Whatsapp is an absolute must for me.

downloaded, installed, still the same problem. I get the same problem as Wazapp: old_version. Like coderus says, it's gonna be up to the developers to get a new version up and running. Looks like nobody else can fix this issue

What you can do is register at another phone with origin Whatsapp software, thta will do the trick.

sure? cause whatsapp servers need to recognize my phone and Wazapp... as long as my current Wazapp version isn't recognized by Whatsapp, it won't work on my phone. correct?

the last time I had this persistent error was because I didn't inserted my sim card... is you simcard in the N9, connected to network ?

I hope one day Facebook will support Whatsapp in Facebook messenger... this day, we'll be able to send messages with native N9 Facebook messenger...

yes, my simcard is in the phone, connected to a network. I think the only solution is the one that coderus has proposed a few posts earlier.

I see in your profile that you have a Jolla... Are you still logged in Mitakullu on the Jolla ?

Yes, i have deleted those. And different number in my Jolla so that doesn't matter if i'm logged in with it.:)

I can give you an idea, but I havent tested... and if someone could help for the last part ?

1. Download Pidgin Whatsapp Registration at https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sh...RT-1.6.7.0.exe

(Pidgin for Windows has a plugin to have Whatsapp on it)

2. On the program, register your phone number with country code (for France, 33, for Switzerland 41)

You'll get the confirmation code per SMS on your N9. Put this code in the program, and the program will give you your password to connect to Whatsapp.

Now you have to put your username and password in the config file of Wazapp, but I don't know where is this config file. Your username is your number with country code

Can't get the code, some issues with ssl/tls security.. I have allowed that program from firewall settings.

you just only need to install sqlite3 to device to change account password for wazapp. for whatsup you just edit config text file.

Nobody can do it for you. You have to do it with your number. Try do use the last received password...

Sqlite3 is on openrepos, install it with Warehouse

from table Accounts grt account id for wazapp, and in table Settings change password field to your new password.
if some problems with sqlite3 i can point you to change wazapp python files directly with text editor to ignore password from Accounts
