Yes, it should work that way. If your app is opened it assumes you are engaged in a conversation so there is no loud notification. This change was in response to feedback by other users.

to be honest it should use the beep sound like in chat while the user is in the chat window, it is not intrusive and yet able to alert the user of new message if they put the phone down and look else where

hi broo, i am sorry if u felt bad about this, but if u notice one Muslim guy make the app and he should not thinking as israel and who ever leaves there are bad , this things matter to politics not here.

we(muslim) are no body to deiced for somebody else. tgalal should add this before releasing the first version.

Hello,

I was so happy as I heared about wazzap but it doesn´t work. I tried several times to register but still receive the same error all over the time:

Fail. Server said: fail-too-many

On my Galaxy Nexus it still works.

How can I resolve this problem?

I am a new Nokia N9 user and consequently new to wazapp. I adore the people who invest their free time to develop such an app and fill the need of thousands of users.

Now let me tell you of my experiences using wazapp. I downloaded the latest version and installation as well as registration went fine. I have registered as a Swiss domestic.

Version 0.2.6 started but never completed the "connecting...".
I was able to send out messages but the contact always kept the red-dot and their messages never got to me.
I was able to synchronize the contact list tho.

I removed the app and re-installed again. Couple of times, restarted the device, etc. nothing helped. Looks as if the app cannot connect properly.

I then downloaded version 0.2.4 and this version works very well. Messages were sent and received. The only issue is that the program might end the connection. I then have to quit and restart to make it work again.

Is there anyone with a good idea what I could do to get the latest version 0.2.6 working?

Can you please put your logs into a .txt file!

It is ridiculous having 50+ lines of a log file on soo many pages of this thread.

Paste your logs into a log.txt file and just post a short message explaining the issue.

Also I am trying to help clean the thread up a bit, its a lot harder for people to scan through if there are log posts that take up all the space.

Not hard to put it into a .txt file is it?? That way only the people who need to see it, will see it.

Also the message is for FUTURE posts of logs. Im not telling the person to go and remove his post and repost with a .txt file..

I even said "Thanks" at the end, so clearly I wasn't angrily stating my point.

Awesome Settings Screen, love it, is it just me or the N9 version is beginning to look better than on most Platforms, I've seen the Blackberry, Samsung Galaxy Note and N8 + E7 versions, I think N9 wins here. The only one I think may have better or on par is the Iphone version. But with all the coming Updates they better worry too.....

I see they idiots from Whatsapp buying this App off Tgalal's hands soon :)
