What are you on about? Starting to think you need to calm down mate.

WhatsApp and Wazapp NEED to be compared!

How else would we know missing functionality..

The idea is for Wazapp to have feature parity with WhatsApp Official Clients .

Meaning Wazapp is just as featurefull and the official clients..

If he was an iPhone user, he wouldn't be spending many of his hours on this forum.

Where would he benefit in that, seeing as Muzimak has made many useful contributions to threads.

You do as well, but atm your just attacking him for no reason, so I suggest we end this here and now.

Your bashing him for trying to update the comparison of features between WhatsApp and Wazapp clients..

my wazapp is.not working ... I Start wazapp the loading page start but i can't access to the chat .. Loading page close automatically

i tried to uninstall ans install again and same problem :( any help ???

Can´t i delete the file *.db

FileBox said me Error.
Term said me Permise denied.

I quit wazapp, I have a root, inception, FileBoxRoot, and nothing.

I think it is time for another updated version. What is taking so long? Desperate users are trying to install the developer versions themselves. Come on, lets not have another eBuddy debacle.

I'm not sure if it's my problem or... but I get logged out of Wazapp every time after a reboot and have to re-register for the service (with the 3-letter code received for the first time, though). Strangely the previously added account is still in the account manager and messages remained even after deleting and reinstalling the app.

I suspect if the problem come from me changing my SIM card from my N9 to my back-up phone every time the battery goes flat (which is rather fast...) and restarting the N9 after charging without putting the SIM card in... But there were instances when the SIM remained in the phone the entire time and the app still logs me out after a reboot...

Does anyone know why this is happening?

File sending is not implemented yet, you can only receive media sent to you.

Account and data history has nothing to do with the app being reinstalled. You'll keep the history as long as the db file is there, and the account is stored in the phone's settings.

Are you using whatsapp in said back up phone? if so, that'd be the reason, as whatsapp allows only one account per device.

However, if that's not the case, and you need to register every time you turn on your phone, even without removing the sim card, then it might be a bug, or some problem with your imei, perhaps.

issue in my wazapp :(

I don't know what happened in my wazapp!! although i have the latest version but today the initializing screen opens and closes immediately and whenever i open it the same thing happen!!! what is the solution please in details because i didnt understand this solutions "run in terminal as a normal non-root user"?

PLEASE HELP ASAP

So next release is not out yet. But since many are asking for updates and expected release date I'm going to give out some hints. So as many have noticed the next update should support media sharing (receiving and maybe sending) as well as real support for group conversations. The reason why it's taking so long is because wazapp's user interface was initially written for single conversation without putting into consideration groups. Not only that, but I realized I wrote that initial version of the UI in a terrible way, and we've been building UI updates on this terrible code. So I'm rewriting the UI in a way that should make our lives (us developers) easier and allows adding future features.

As for when, no dates yet.

Have you confirmed your status change from another device? Because as it's already been stated (you should read the thread, people...) you won't see your own status change on your device, as it always shows the same title in the status change screen, however devices in which you figure as a contact will see the new status.

And for those posting before me, no offense, but please stick to english or talk through pm. thanks.

Hi guys, I'm having problems with wazapp relating to contacts, if I add a new contact (which has whatsapp) this does not get synced on wazapp, anyone has the same issue? also if this contact sends me a message, I don't get the message on wazapp, but I do get the message if I login on my n95 on whatsapp, this issue is present on 0.2.6 and on dev version (I just installed two days ago)

Also some of my contacts have told me that suddenly they dont get my messages under "my name" but instead they get the message showing only my number

steps:

1. quit Wazapp from within the app (menu -> quit)
2. delete /home/user/.wazapp/*.db file (using Filebox or term)

4. extract .zip on Your pc
5. delete wazapp & wazapp_init files from that client folder
6. now zip only /client folder with all subfolders & structure
7. transfer it to Your N9
8. open rooted Filebox (password: rootme) and move that .zip to /opt/waxmppplugin/bin/wazapp folder
9. extract .zip in that folder accepting to overwrite all existing files
10. open terminal, enter devel-su, then rootme as the password
11. execute command: apt-get install python-dateutil and wait ( Packagename was wrong in previous description)
12. execute: cd /opt/waxmppplugin/bin/wazapp
13. execute: chmod 777 *
14. exit terminal
15. start Wazapp from Your homescreen
(16. if Wazapp doesn't start -> reboot + step 15)

p.s.: deleting that .db file in step 2 means deleting Your chat history, so bear that in mind

You don't need to delete your db, just make a backup/rename it, for example if you have 4234123124.db just change to 4234123124.db.bak then after you follow all those 15 steps (you will not have any chat history of course) quit wazapp, now delete the newly created 4234123124.db and again rename 4234123124.db.bak to 4234123124.db and you'll have your chat history back and wazapp working

It will include Multimedia Messages, Satus Updating & Group Messages, but no idea if we can block/unblock contacts...
