Sigh.

So, I just tried to install/uninstall some apps. And it's giving me errors. Errors which I believe I had fixed before.

It has to do with the libnotification, I am going to attempt to re-download it and re-install it.

In the meantime, any fix for the "Application not compatible" error? It prevents me from installing or uninstalling anything.

EDIT: Went back to Post 15. I apologize for being an idiot.

for some reason, whenever i install this, the status menu takes up the whole screen on my device... :(

even after a reflash to pr1.3

Is it too hard to keep in another thread something useful for PR1.3 users, I mean a full procedure for a PR1.3 users only ?

IMHO if I was a 1st TMO user I tend to trust the 1st post thinking it was continuously refreshed with all cases (but you and me know it's not true).

As a long user of TMO, I know this forum is a big mess to find the right information.

For example, try to search "comprehensive firmware", I expected to see the thread named "Sticky: [HOWTO] Comprehensive Firmware Flashing Guide for N9"

It came at the second position of search results !!! ??? ...

Also, in this example I remembered the subject contain the word "comprehensive", that helped the search function.

Now as noob user try searching just the word "flashing" ...

The 1st subject containing this word was also "Sticky: [HOWTO] Comprehensive Firmware Flashing Guide for N9", and it is at the 9th position !!!

Quite confusing no ?

Hi Coderus!!!
I want to show You a problem that I'm facing right now,with the unrestricted system....

I already installed INCEPTION (I ve got the PR!.3 : no problem at all).
then...:

devel-su
rootme
wget http://mohammadag.xceleo.org/public/....0~1_armel.deb

but.this is the answer that i've got:

failed : name of service not found.

I'm pretty sure that i'm missing something... but I don't know WHAT!!!!
With the PR1.2 I had Inception and the unrestricted system with no problem....
Could somebody help me?

Yes , I know it.
This is the post that I used to download the PR1.3: libnotificationsystem, unrestricted-system-ui.
I followed his instructions ( without renaming the statusindicatormenu : the alphabetical order is fine,for me..), but is not working for me.
Do I have to download NOT only the PR1.3 version, but even the PR1.2?

I dont know how, but upon installation i have lost theimternet indicator status.

statusindicatormenu-internetconnection.desktop has been overwritten with the alarm plugin.

would anyone be so kind as to provide the original file?

Not really, he just doesn't have an N9 yet (and thus no PR1.3)

I'll publish a new version today or tomorrow with arrangement support via a config file.

Also, this is a mess, I'm making a repo to hold all the stuff that needs inception, then the user would just need to incept one package and the rest can be installed with normal apt-get methods.

The wiki page and first post have been updated with instructions for PR1.3 and a quick how to on rearranging plugins with the new config file.

Since the patch isn't small, and this is GPL'd (or some other license that forces me to release source :P), I've put the source on gitorious:

PR1.3 sources aren't available as of now, it's the new version from git with a lower number (a backport).

Yeah, this ends it the same way you started it.
I asked you to request merges on gitorious so there'd be only version of anything but you decided to go your own way, which makes me consider closed source for future releases.

i haven't PR1.3 too, but just compiled and it working.
sorry, i can't wait weeks for you. i sent you mt-toggles and toggles sources, any progress? don't think so. unrestricted from you have big delay too. so, what i did wrong?
so, anyway, i'm off from unrestricted and mt-toggles projects, making my own legal applet project for OVI store ;)
