they wont ban old protocols, because they can just send upgrade notifications, not disallow using old versions.
and i think symbian is still on WA1.2, isnt it?

you know better:) anywayLately i have seen a huge influx of cheap 10$ chineese featurephones with whatsapp wechat etc even most of them are like built in with no scope to update and some can be updated from their respective stores like in mtk phones mrp store etc so what happens to those static versions of whatsapp on the non updateable ones then ? Thanx

I'm not sure if Symbian is still on 1.2...

Anyway about the static versions of non-official WhatsApp clients: they will die :)

It would be really nice to have vCard support. I wonder if it's hard to implement that feature.

Hi, I hve two ideas.
1) Do you like/ is it possible to get the possibility to call or send an sms to a contact by clicking on the concact name in the chat?
2) Do you like/ is it possible to activate a "privacy mode" loke the offline mode of Facebook if you know. In order to don't display the online status to all or some of our contacts?

using yappari 1.1.46...
but still cnt share file size above 12 mb...

plz update frnd, sharing file upto 16 mb, some privacy options..

Would it be possible to integrate Yappari in the "Conversations" section of the N900? This way it would integrate completely and when viewing contacts you'd get a button to chat with that person through whatsapp.

today i installed Yappari on my N900 and must say great work Scorpious. i wanted to share i idea already available in official version of WhatsApp.

Can you add a button/function to view a specific contacts/persons shared multimedia files ? it will be useful for many people. and where are the multimedia files are stored in N900 ?
